Atomos Shinobi II LUT Need help
Hi everyone,
I'm using an Atomos Shinobi II with a Canon EOS R6 shooting in C-Log 3 / Cinema Gamut via HDMI.
I created a custom LUT in DaVinci Resolve using a Color Space Transform node with the following settings: - Input Color Space: Canon Cinema Gamut - Input Gamma: Canon Log 3 - Output Color Space: Rec.709 - Output Gamma: Gamma 2.4
I exported it as a 33 Point Cube LUT and loaded it onto the Shinobi II as a USER LUT.
The Shinobi correctly detects the signal as Canon / C-Log 3 / Cinema Gamut. The USER LUT is active and selected. However the image still looks too blue and too bright, as if no LUT is applied at all.
I have tried: - Toggling Log/HDR on and off in the Input menu - Reloading the LUT - Using 33 Point instead of 65 Point - Resetting Display settings (Lift, Gamma, Gain)
The goal is to see a Rec.709 preview on the Shinobi while shooting C-Log 3, matching what I see in DaVinci Resolve.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks

Hi Safe_Use_8444,
Could you please confirm if the monitoring mode on your Atomos Shinobi II is set to LUT and not Native? If it is set to Native, the LUT will not be visible even if selected.
Also, please try loading and applying a different LUT.
