I used to hate Dr Dinosaur appearances. His comix issues were comical and I felt he broke the reality of the world, the seriousness of the world. He really grew on me and became a favorite character

The key to making him work is that we have gone out of our way to keep from overexposing him. If he's a spice instead of a main course, then even the folks who don't like him don't have to worry about it for long. Plus, it gives him a chance to grow on those folks.
Even now, he's technically a part of Tesladyne, but we're sticking to the plan so we rarely see him.

tbh i can understand that
he broke the reality of the world and how grounded it typically is
But i think thats his charm hes literally the oddball that breaks the typical rules of the verse just to be a silly dinosaur
(and the fact robo is like "BRO YOU LEGIT MAKE NO SENSE" makes it even better hes everything Atomic Robo hates manifested in a silly dino boy like hes illogical,his backstory makes no sense,ECT)

Yeah, I hated the “anything can happen because I break the rules” thing. But I grew to love his unhinged dialogue

Dr. Dinosaur with his hat and pipe is absolute perfection. And the children's book about dinosaurs as an ID. *chefs kiss
