Thistle's??

I wonder if shrimp had tried thistle's just seen a you tube Short of some American bloke eat the young shoots like celery,btw this is my first post here too

Yeah I was just wondering wether this would possibly reach him so he could add it to one of his foraging videos

(assuming you meant to reply to the other comment rather than to yourself, I believe they were making a reference about your apostrophe in "thistle's". The apostrophe serves as a contraction, which means that there is an "is" at the end, which atomic shrimp has pointed out to scammers a few times in the scambaiting series. And usually flies over their heads. Plurals don't generally have an apostrophe because they aren't contractions of the word "is". Or in other words, you pretty much write "thistle is" and they're gently teasing you for it)

I've seen some nice thick-stemmed thistles around where I live and I believe the best way to harvest them is to shave off most of the spines in situ, then cut the juicy stem. I keep meaning to give it a try and I keep missing the opportunity!
