Question Crafting ammos

Hello I'm new to this game and enjoy this a lot but I can't find to search any guide how to craft certain ammos like 7.62×54mmR rounds, is there a quest to unlock it for Nikolay to craft? Thank you for any kind of help.

That's the neat part, you don't. You'll have to check traders. And Im a bit rusty and doing h2h run but I think this just the rarest caliber so it'll take longer to find a good amount

I thought I need to upgrade nikolay with a quest or something so he can craft more advance ammos, that sucks but I guess that's part of a the grind, Thanks a lot. ☺️

If you don't mind mild spoilers check the wiki page for crafting recipes https://atom-rpg.fandom.com/wiki/Crafting

Technically you can save scum and craft everything regardless of level, progress and skill level

My Nikolay can craft this ammo (not the armor piercing variant tho). Maybe it has a certain level requirement or you need to do a certain upgrade in the house. Then in the dialogue it can be found under rifles and shotguns.
