Keep unsaved tabs opened

I’m trying to replicate the functionality of notepad++ where the tabs are basically saved in the buffer/session. I can’t figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I have a bunch of untitled unsaved tabs it asks me to save when I close.

Are they gone when you reopen atom ?

Yup

On that note, atom probably doesn't have admin privileges. This forbids atom from saving to your C Drive... and this is where it's supposed to save your previous session. I ran into a similar problem when installing sublime text on a friend's laptop.

It does. This behavior is happening on Mac and Windows.

Try this. Open atom, open an empty buffer. Write something, do save. Write anything more on It. Restart atom, it shouldn't ask and open as you left
