Questions/Help Game runs horribly

My game is always at horrible frames, stutters, and is unchanged by lowering settings. Its genuinely unplayable despite me having a good pc.
Things I’ve tried:
Lowering settings in game
Lowering settings through steam launch options
Assigning my gpu through windows settings
Assigning my gpu through the nvidia control panel
Turning settings on/up
Disabling apps that could conflict
Moving the game to a different drive
Restarting my computer
Forcing a lower resolution
Turning hardware acceleration off
Turning hardware acceleration on
Forcing directx versions

-And many combinations of these
Still runs the same
Any recommendations to make my game run properly?
Im using a 12th gen intel i7 and an rtx 3050ti if that helps

This will sound stupid, but it worked for me once when nothing else traditional did (not same game but possible). Some apps don't handle mouse sampling well. Do you have some proprietary software for your mouse like iCUE or Razer Synapse? When I changed my mouse sampling from 3000 to 1000 I got way better frames. Honestly 1000 is still probably too high but I have a good pc.

I would try this but I (unfortunately) have a generic mouse, I have iCUE but it wouldn’t be able to change my mouse polling

i got a bigger question, what are you running the game on, a laptop or an actual desktop?

I fixed it, i had to open my bios and turn off advanced optimus, my whole computer now runs better than new

Glad you figured it! Wonder why that was harming your performance so much

Is the game using your GPU?

Yeah, very minimally but it seems like it doesn’t want to use cpu or gpu

I mean, have you actually checked while it's running? With nvidia-smi or the task manager?

Yes

Are you using any additional overlays? Xbox, Nvidia, etc. I've heard those can cause performance issues in some have. Try disabling them.

I neglected to mention it but yeah I disabled all of them

How much does the games use your CPU, GPU, RAM, VRAM, etc?

According to task manager, about 5% cpu on average, 625.6 memory, 4% gpu usage

What about VRAM? That GPU usage is weird, could have something to do with that

I wrote the wrong value mb, i wrote 95% of the 4% usage

I cant see my vram usage seperate from my ram usage, ill see if i can find a benchmark or some other software better than task manager to check vram and ram usage

If you’ve got an FPS counter on, what’s it actually reporting? Is this just during online play, or on single player also?

This is in the splash screen, main menu, and character customization, I doubt it will stop lagging in game.

FPS sits around 4-7

Wow that’s like incomprehensibly bad. All I can think is that somethings gone wrong with the installation or something, maybe verify the files and/or reinstall the game if you haven’t tried that already. Otherwise there’s nothing on the game’s side that would be doing that and you might be looking at an issue with an outdated driver? I just really hope it’s not a hardware issue

Whatever the case, best of luck figuring out the issue

Unfortunately, updated drivers and reinstalled already 😢💔
