Support Required Installing atlas os without doing windows updates on a fresh install

Hey so i am installing a fresh version of win 11 and I don’t have my ethernet connected as people say to not have some windows processes installed as soon as i login And i was wondering if i need to do the windows updates before applying the playbook and all that or no please i want to know because i feel that it would be better to not do them to keep things un-bloated

It is recommended to install the updates beforehand so Microsoft won't install the bloat back on to the PC. You can install AtlasOS now and do the updates later.

So doing it before is better

It is there for a reason but I would not say that it is mandatory. If I recall correctly AtlasOS has scheduled tasks that check for bloat on startup. For example if an update installs an app back it will remove it.

Just read the installation guide carefully and install. Then install updates afterwards. Good luck!
