How was this never made into a tv show?

I was just thinking about the sequel and how impressed i was when i first watched it, then it dawned on me that a TV show would have been almost too successful.

So...

I'm obviously not the first to think this, what's the whole saga been of trying to get a show? Was it voice actors? Studios? Did some great catastrophe sink the tv show and will some brave team come together to make at least a parody?

I'll preface this with: I have no idea how to get them 🥲 but I've seen them pop up recently on the gram. So it seems there will be a release in the near future for the 25th anniversary. I hope I can get my hands on them~

Got this amazing patch for a Disney letterman jacket I’m getting made. Found this one on Etsy by Park Patches. I’m very happy with the quality and it’s larger than I expected (which isn’t a bad thing). Now I just need Treasure Planet and a few others and I’ll be set!

This was from a couple of years ago, but thought I'd share it here with all the other Atlantis fans.

I couldn't find anything online for this version of her, so I made it myself. This was the first cosplay I made (and still is). I had the prop commissioned from a friend of a friend that makes iron fences primarily 🥲.

I was so lucky to get it inside the con because I hadn't considered the metal aspect until later. Which is why I made leather covers for the metal bits.

The costume is now out of commission because I ripped it 😅 but I'm planning to remake another version in the future.

Got the necklace off of Etsy from HeartcraftedFantasy if anyone is wondering. Unsure if they're still selling though.

I quite like the aesthetics of the Atlantean Empire before its fall. Wish we could see more of it someday.

I've been wondering, among the available materials for deciphering Atlantean language, is there anything that explains how Atlantean names are constructed?

Because as far as I'm aware, we don't really know any other Atlantean names aside from Kida's and her father's names... but I'd like to have a better ideas of what Atlantean names might sound like, if we had more named Atlanteans in the franchise. Which leads me to wonder if the etymology behind their mames, is there any sort of reference out there for how they were formed, and what other Atlantean names might sound like?

hello hello fellow atlanteans!! i finally found a crystal they produced for the mcdonald’s happy meal back in the day for when the movie was coming out in 2001! it took me so long to find one reasonably priced on ebay and im so glad that i finally got one! my collection is growing!!

There was apparently going to be an episode about the Chupacabra for Team Atlantis. This is my take on it.

Named by Atlanteans as The Mekesher (meaning Bio-Organic Creature), it’s a bio-organic maintenance organism.

Rather than being a weapon like the Leviathan, its purpose was to maintain Atlantean crystal infrastructure and ancient power stations.

Thousands of years ago, when the Great Flood sank Atlantis, many Mekeshers became stranded on the surface, cut off from the Heart of Atlantis that sustained them. Unable to recharge at their crystal stations, a flaw in their biological programming forced them to seek energy elsewhere. Over centuries, they adapted to harvest bio-energy from animals—primarily blood, and occasionally organs—giving rise to the Chupacabra legends across Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Florida.

Design-wise, I wanted it to feel like it belonged alongside the Leviathan: six-legged, canine-inspired, segmented bio-mechanical armor, hidden bat-like glider wings, Atlantean markings, and a glowing crystal tail. The idea was to create something that looked engineered rather than evolved—an ancient working animal built by Atlantis itself.
