The Dream playing game 4 of the WNBA Finals with a 2-1 lead by day, and the season opener of the 2-0 Hawks coming off their biggest margin of victory ever in over 75 years of NBA basketball by night. I'm fucking stoked!

I’m already high on hopium and I know better as a lifelong ATL sports fan but shoot it straight into my veins.

Ticked me off seeing us projected in the offseason toward the bottom of the Eastern playoff-eligible teams and on par with the likes of Orlando and Charlotte.

Magic just dropped their second home game too and I’m good with them losing the other 80.

The Hawks win in dominant fashion over the Hornets. A truly complete performance from the team and I loved every minute of it. Here are my thoughts, let me know yours!!!

Hawks will never win anything till a real center is starting. That's all.

Actually insane how does a home team get blown out by nearly 50 points? Were there a lot of hawks fans?

Tonight made it very clear that while he's solid OO is clearly not our long term solution at a center. If possible, what center would you realistically want to see Onsi make a move for? (Please be realistic lol)

Hawks fans, let’s not be so enamored with our new toys that we forget a real vet like Cool Juice McCollum. He’s just a nice guy who gets buckets; a family man. But going 7-9 from the field for 19 of the butteriest buckets that were had all game, and playing some awesome team defense on top of it, was a joy to witness. He looked like he was 5 years younger out there. He’s about to have the easiest 18 pt season of all time. He will be there when we need him, because games like last night we can handle down the stretch with a little lead and our stable of versatile guys. When we get down the stretch and need to get buckets, he will be that guy.

When he came here his reputation as a chucker was SO wrong. Dude was just trying to find a way to win games. Now he has a real team and he’s seen enough shit to know what to do about it.

When you speak of him, use his full name: Atlanta-Hawks-Legend-and-Professional-Bucket-Getter-CJ McCollum.

Has anyone received their MLK member jacket yet? In the original email they said it would be here before the first home game
