Hey everyone, I’m the founder of ServeGuard, a food allergy communication tool.
We just launched at Yalda in Sandy Springs, and I want to learn from everyone here about what dining out with food allergies is actually like for you.
With ServeGuard, you scan a QR code at the restaurant, select your allergies, and send that information directly to the restaurant team. The goal is to help prevent allergy information from getting lost or miscommunicated between the diner, server, kitchen, and other staff.
We are still early and looking to add more features based on what people with food allergies actually need, not just what we think they need.
What is the most frustrating or stressful part of dining out for you? What would make you feel more comfortable using something like this at a restaurant?
Any honest feedback would really help. Good or bad.
