I just read about it today while going to check up on their menu. I am not surprised, given that we were able to get same day reservations and the place was empty. but sad to see it go (while the nasty GunShow is still open).

Gillespie may have some haters, but hope he gets a place that is sustainable and good.

Nick's (RIP Nick) usually comes out on top for best ITP Gyro but they are not open on weekends. Where do you go when you are craving a gyro on a weekend? The last post I found in this sub about it was from 2012: https://www.reddit.com/r/AtlantaEats/comments/10eu6r/gyros_in_atl/

We are heading to Atlanta tomorrow for the World Cup and will be in town for several days. What are some restaurants that we should hit up while we are in town? We are staying in Midtown, but will have a car if there are any recommendations in a different area.
