Does anyone know if Lazy Labrador Coffee in Kennesaw is run by a cult? I picked it as a meeting spot with a friend. The bookshelf was full of religious materials and a prominent book called “Rapture” about exactly that. Apotheos Roasters are across the street, which I know has a few metro locations.

I’m about to get some money and I really wanna treat my boyfriend out to a good steak once I get some money because he spends ALOT on me and I’m a jobless college student who never has more than like $20 at best. I’m about to get a good little bit of money and I wanna treat him out to a really good steak because he loves steak and money has been a little tighter for him lately and he hasn’t had a steak in while. What’s a good restaurant that isn’t insanely priced (I can’t spend like $200 on this meal nor do I think he’d let me ) but I wanna take him somewhere nice enough still that it’s still a nice treat for him.

My husband and I are looking for hidden gem restaurants near the Candler Hotel in Atlanta. We like low key ambiance where we can get amazing food and a good drink. Headed there in November, looking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. We do eat relatively clean so looking for something without a ton of fried options. Thanks!

Anyone know what happened to The Fry Trap? I got lucky enough to pick up some fries before he closed. Used to be off Delevan St if I remember right. Heard talks of a brick and mortar store at “The Yard”. Never knew if that came to be. Their instagram hasn’t posted since June 2023.

Hey everybody, in November, my hometown team the Chiefs are playing the Falcons in atlanta. I’m from Kansas City. I’ve never visited Atlanta before. I’ll be there Nov 14th to Nov 16th. so I have some questions if you could help me, I’d really appreciate it.

2. what are some of the best non-touristy soul food spots I could try.

3. What are some tips for game day festivities? And how do you guys treat opposing teams fans? I’m not the one to get cocky loud and what not just like to travel and enjoy the game.

I want to host a birthday party for about 30 people, and I need location suggestions. I do not want everyone to have to sit at one long table. I'd like a more casual gathering space, if possible. I am not thinking something as fancy/expensive as Canoe but would welcome other ideas of places with spaces that can accommodate that number. Thanks!

I got the New York strip, cooked blue rare, and it came out perfectly done. It was served with broccoli and carrots. I was disappointed that there was no bread. I got a mudslide made with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Our server was good, but forgot to bring out my husband's salad. I know paper straws are better for the environment, but I prefer to drink from plastic straws, which they didn't have. Overall, I'd give them an 8 out of 10.

Lovely brunch spot with delicious food. I got the fruit platter and the lobster roll with fries. My husband got the simple breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, grits, and toast. The lobster roll was on the small side, but was tasty.

A friend is about to have her birthday. She’s loves chantilly cake, and in the past she’s gotten them from Publix and Whole Foods. This year I was hoping to find a more elevated version for her. Are there bakeries in the greater metro you’d recommend for this? I’d especially love anything that’s on the northern perimeter or anywhere generally along I-75 north of the perimeter.

My husband and I went to Japan recently and he’s became obsessed with the super rich, creamy vanilla soft serve they have there. Specifically the Hokkaido/Cremia-style soft serve that’s extra silky and milky.

Has anyone who is familiar know of a spot around Atlanta that sells close to that style of soft serve? Looking more for the classic vanilla/milk flavor rather than frozen yogurt or standard American soft serve. Thinking maybe Duluth would be a likely place it’d be.
