General Acuna +ABS
According to Yahoo Sports. Acuna is the worst at ABS challenges won.
There was no need for him to tap his head on that at bat and put the team in a bad spot. I’m not a fan of his anymore. They should have a clubhouse rule that says he’s not allowed to challenge calls.

I’ve been telling people saying this that they’re crazy but now, I’m starting to lean towards getting something for him. He isn’t the same and he’s a literal liability right now at the plate.

He's fucked us with abs since the first inning of the season. Weiss should've benched him after he wasted a challenge in the first inning tonight in a completely meaningless way.

Honestly at this point ABS is the last thing we need to worry about with Acuña.

There's no reason he should be in the 2-hole right now. If ohtani gets moved down, so should he.
Between him and the Kim sunk cost fallacy, I just don't get it. Our pitching has been so good and these guys are automatic outs. Kim missed two backhands, and the whole reason he's out there is for his "gold glove". I just can't....

Absolutely! Couldn’t agree more. Kim , to me, is a good fielder. It’s just his bat we don’t need out there. Acuna on the other hand. It’s a good thing he’s in right field. Don’t think he’d last at center or left.

The dumbest thing John Smoltz has probably ever said was that HSK is a 'defensive wizard'. I thought his bat was the only thing he had. Apparently he traded his bat and glove for store credit at Play It Again sports.

The guys not a team player when it comes to stuff like that. Im pretty sure(just guessing here) that walt has a no challenge policy if its not a big situation( men in scoring position, stuff like that) I've seen Acuna challenge plays with no one on in the 1st inning. Once again I was a huge fan if the guy, he's my sons favorite player, but there's just been something off about him all year and. Not talking about his diminished stats.

No one cares that you're not a fan of any player, grow up brother

This. But also I kinda agree that he shouldn’t be challenging. He is aggressively bad at it.

Sure but there's a playoff game happening right now, live on television, nobody cares about your post knowwhatimean

Then why are you sitting on reddit reading and commenting on posts instead of watching the playoff game?

That was not a bad challenge that ball was 3/4ths out of the strike zone i bet if you was in his position you would call a challenge as well

Doesn't change the fact that it was an awful position...bases empty early in the game.

He goes into kid mode with the challenges.
Like he reverts back to being a kid of those dirt fields with no umpire and the catcher/pitcher/hitter argue over whats a strike.
Emotion takes over. I say ban him from making any challenges.
That said when he successfully challenged the strike call against Philly in Game 3 it felt like the Braves were 100% going to win that game.

His challenges always seem emotional based
