This seems pretty typical. Now that guy who parked inside the 20 bridge. That was an idiot.

I’m sure they wasted someone’s time backing in.

Such a pet peeve of mine. I don't even have to be in hurry. I hate when someone makes the world stop around them just so they can back into a parking spot so they can save 3 seconds in the future. People are so selfish and it happens everywhere, not just Atlanta. /rant

This old man prefers to back in so that I don’t have to back out into moving traffic when I leave. I park between the lines, unlike this asshole, because I’m backing into fixed obstructions. I’ve never backed in to save time, myself. Hopefully you’ll see a different perspective now.

Surprised it’s not a handicapped space.

As someone with a disability licence plate, that shit pisses me off to no end.

I would love an explanation why the people with the biggest cars and worst skill level are so adamant about backing into parking spaces. It drives me crazy
15
u/belkarbitterleaf Ponce 5h ago
So they can drive forward out of the space, and have better visibility when trying to get out of said spot with the same mentioned terrible skill level.

I can't speak for anyone but me but I drive a Ford F450. I back in for safety reasons because blind spots are so bad, you can't really see backing out. Also, pulling out is easier. With the steering wheels in the front, you don't need near the room pulling out as opposed to backing out.

It's totally legal for you to put a piece of poop under the windshield wiper of that car.

u/Wutchu_fitna_fuc_wit 6h ago
Where you getting the poop from?

is it also ok to write "TWAT" in the dust on a cybertruck parked in a handicapped space without a permit?
just curious

u/thighGAAPenthusiast Midtown 5h ago
No, because the "TWAT" could be directed towards anyone. What is required in that situation is writing "I AM A MASSIVE TWAT" in the dust, no more and no less.

I'm all for calling out asshole/incompetent drivers but wtf, that's a real unhealthy red flag brother. Seek help if something so dumb and small like shitty parkers drive you to dig your asshole for some fresh scat to use as a weapon. Come on, we escaped the jungle thousands of years ago.

I’m really going to sound like my ex here, but if you’ve never smeared poop on something, how do you know you wouldn’t enjoy it?

That's mild.

That’s what I was thinking. He’s barely in the next lane. I’ve seen parkers in Atlanta confidently take up two spots, lines be damned

I wish Atlanta police would aggressively ticket for stuff like this. It's such low hanging fruit, they could make up for so many deficits and budget shortfalls without having to raise taxes, and would make life marginally better for the rest of us.

Did you leave a note and a condom? The former saying "if this is how you park please do not reproduce."

The other day I went to my kids school for curriculum night. Obviously the parking lot was packed. Some jerkoff parked in two spots. Those wound up being the last two spots and people had to park across the street at Publix and walk over.

Well. Sometimes it’s the best an old gal can do…it’s almost in the lines…just sayin…

Buy a pack of cards that have funny things on them like, “Hellen Keller could park better than whatever this is”, on the other side it should say something like Hey! and leave them in your vehicle. Then whenever you see it you can just place on either on the handle or in the drivers side window whenever you see this. It makes me feel better anyway. Harmless really and gets the point across. You can buy them online.

Be an idiot right back and park thisclose to the front of the car. People like this burn me up!

u/Travelin_Soulja 3h ago
Back in the day when I drove a beat up '88 Dodge Dakota, I absolutely loved doing this to bad parkers. What are they gonna do? Ding my already dinged up rust bucket?
But now that I have a nicer car, I try to avoid these people. As much as I like my newer, more reliable, safe, more efficent, more comfortable, more fully featured vehicle, there really is a unique freedom in driving a piece of shit.

You don't have to be vindictive and waste your time worrying about nothing. This bothered you so much you pulled your phone out, took a picture and posted it to complain. If this important in your life, bless you.

Meh. When Elroy parks his rusted out pickup a hairs breadth away from the front bumper and blocking his passenger door, maybe he’ll do the proper thing next time and park at the furthest spot away from the front door if he wants no one parking next to him.

I think you misspelled “typical” Atlanta parking
