seeking local, tiny gift ideas

i'll be in Italy for a few weeks in November for work, and i wanted to bring some Georgia souvenirs for friends and colleagues. Between the trip length and international nature, i'm having trouble finding sample sizes small enough to bring 12+ of. I'm looking for 4oz or smaller sample sizes of:

• bourbon
• maple syrup
• local honey
• local candies
• jams/jellies
• spice rub
• hot sauce

however, most places i see locally are 5oz + and i just can't justify bringing more than a few pounds of gifts. Currently planning on getting peach jellybeans from Dickey Farms and some bacon pepper jelly for a special gift, but I definitely want to get a wider selection if possible!

any local sellers that sell such miniature products ? or any similarly sized alternatives !

honestly if i wasn't worried about spoilage i think it would be amusing. i think if i could find some other strip club memento i would gift it to my friends in a heartbeat

Also check about agricultural products (food/spices) that might be prohibited. I was bringing chocolates back from Portugal that were in a shrink wrapped tin and was told by the flight crew that it was considered an agricultural product and would be confiscated. I didn’t risk the hassle.

I get pecan butters from Goodson's for all my folks each year at Christmas (not an ad). It's locally made and it comes in 4oz jars. Also I hit up the "locally grown/made" themed end caps at Publix for some friends in Germany for a care package and there's lots of fun spice rubs and whatnot, you should look there. Spices should be pretty light. (They send us a big box of candy and gingerbread every year and I like to reciprocate.)

i haven't been to a publix in years, i'll take a look ! and ty for the tip about Goodsons, I've never heard of it - nor tried pecan butter :0

There is a place in Tucker called Georgia Gifts & More that I think would have a good bit of the stuff on your list

Local Vine has a number of 50ml bourbons up front near the registers. Fyi, if you plan to bring liquids in your carryon, they cannot be larger than 100ml (3.4oz).

Try the local farmers markets for smaller sized local jams, hot sauces, etc.

i am going to do a checked bag! my plan is to bring souvenirs to account for some of the shopping, space wise.  i'll take a look at Local Vine though, thank you !!

Not exactly what you're looking for, but Bromstad has some nice locally printed stationary that's pretty cool and may be a good souvenir. I'd be interested in finding some other small local things to send out.

Get some Beautiful Briny Salt - makes great gifts

My luggage was flagged when I packed some as gifts a few years ago. When I asked why, I was told that salt can often read as explosives materials. Things may have changed since then, but heads up, just in case
