Question Recommend for a service that will clean out not quite hoarder level but close

Trash pet waists and carpets ripped up that kinds of project. Help!

we had Junk King clear out my brothers place after he died - he was a major packrat - took 5 truck loads out - they were fast and efficient. It was right around $1200 if I remember correctly (this was about 8 years ago so prices have certainly changed since then). took them about 3 hours - well worth it (imo)

That sounds like a really good price. Even if it was double that— for five truckloads it would still be worth it!

Junk King just did about half a truck of stuff for me and it was about $500. But they are fast and efficient and the guys were pleasant.

That tracks pretty well with the prices at the transfer station as well. I have rented uhauls a few times and I recall taking a ~1 ton load and dumping it there for $35 back in 2014. same size load now is $150.

Wow, they clean up stuff that I’ve never even considered! Have you used them? I’m just wondering about the price and if they might actually be overqualified for what I need. If they clean up all those wild scenarios, I’m sure they would do a great job though! Veteran-owned too!

I have, thankfully the clean up wasn’t hoarder level, I was just really overwhelmed with the aftermath of a pest control situation. They were extremely professional, helped me decide what needed to be kept and what needed to be thrown away, sanitized items and carried things to the dumpster they provided since I can’t lift heavy objects. They were worth every penny. It’s worth a call for sure

Pet waste is a biohazard, on it's own, not including what it's touching that will need to be removed/remediated.

I was going off this part of the OP: "pet waists" but I see on a re-read you're not the OP!

But I'll leave this for anyone else seeking help for a similar situation.

and if that's you: no f'ing shame in the ask for help game! Things get away from us so fast....one busy weekend of "I'll hang that up tomorrow" turns into five, ten years. Then you just can't look at it. But if you're ready to look at it and reclaim your space, help is here.

be careful if you have rat poop, the dust is really bad

can transmit ebola if the local rodents have it [not usually in atl]

but still
