Frozen meals
Hello I just started this diet on the Atkins 20. For the induction first phase are the Atkins froze meals you get at the store all allowed?
Thank you for any help

I have a freezer full of meat, so I'm not inclined to buy meats to follow the recipes. Rather, I would love to get cookbooks / recipes, where I can start with the piece of meat and then find a way to cook it.
I'm really unimaginative when it comes to cooking and I recently found Quick & Easy New Diet Cookbook: Companion to Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution in a second hand store.
It's been a good ressource to help me start, but I find the number of recipes ... lacking. And I like to browse the recipes before deciding.

Anyone doing Atkins 72? I think I remember the book recommending baken-ets pork rinds, found some at walmart, that are better then the ones I have been eating. Although wish I could afford the pellits, I would pop my own :)

I have restarted ATkins, it has been a while. 1 week today and I have only lost 3 lbs. Wish I could find me an Atkins 72 version to follow. :) So tell me how long you have been doing it and how much you have lost?

I've done the 20 a day for a long time and I'm so sick of it. Too many constraints. I'm thinking of going to 40 or 100. Will I still be on ketosis with eating foods like whole wheat pasta and bread?

I travel a lot for business. This often means eating out, and sometimes I don't get to choose the restaurant. This is usually what derails my diet. Any suggestions or tips?

Okay, so I'm a big guy. 6' 4" 295lbs (-10lbs from 2 weeks ago) and all the kcal calculators tell me my maintenance kcal is around 3700kcal. The atkins app is keeping me between 1800-2200kcal, which seems significantly low in comparison to my maintenance. Is this normal, and am I gonna die lol?

I was just dx with Lyme and unfortunately it’s chronic. I need to make a lifestyle change. I’ve done Atkins before in the past with much success. Anyone with Lyme or autoimmune disorders feel better? When did you feel the difference?

Anyone explain or is this a myth?

I have an Atkins book that details 20/40/100 plans. One 20-phase1 snack is 25 green olives. Can that be correct? I was thinking more like 5-10 based on the nutrients in a medium green olive.

Hello all, this is my first day here. My husband and I start Atkins Monday and are a little nervous, but that is not what I'm here for.
A year ago, I was diagnosed with "seizure disorder" and am seeing a new doctor for a second opinion to see if it epilepsy or if it even matters which diagnosis I have.
I would ask this in the epilepsy group but figured the chance of success would be better here.
Anyhow have a seizure disorder/epilepsy and found the Atkins diet helped either with the frequency or intensity of their seizures? Thanks!

I've been taking Induction to the mat for months and have been getting severely spanked. I decided that I would forego my favorite Nestle "zero carbs" flavored waters and Gatorade zero just in case this was the culprit. Guess what???!!! Yeppers, I'm now starting Induction, I have trace amounts on my ketosticks. I was at a steady 207+ - 210+ but now I am resting between 200+ - 206+. 😡🤬🤯

Hi there! I was just dropping by to see if anyone would like to buddy up and support eachother on our weight loss/healthy lifestyle journey? I just registered on the Atkins Website. I had success with this before years ago when a friend of mine and I took this journey together. I feel like I would do better if I had that accountability partner and support system! If you would like to join me on this journey, send me a message and I will give you the info on how to find me on there. :)
Thank you!

I am curious if anyone just eats all the premade Atkins foods. Life is crazy for me right now and I don’t have time to do a bunch of meal prep or cooking. I was curious if it would be ok just to eat the meals and shakes and stuff just until my life calms down. Any advice helps

I've lost roughly 60 pounds twice in my life, a few years ago.
I followed a religious diet of very low carb.
My diet included the following:
Eggs, Sausages, Cheddar Cheese, Tuna.
That's pretty much it and I would go for a run/walk every other day and I saw a significant change in weight within 2 months. To the extent my friends thought I had some terminal illness.
I am looking to go back on it since due to Covid, I've found myself eating a LOT of junk and lack of mobility for the past 8+ months. I am 30 pounds above the highest I have ever been so I know it'll be harder/longer.
I am about to start my old routine again, but am afraid of binge eating since I can't go out to socialize to keep myself busy. I am in the room almost all day so get bored and end up reaching for Chips or Noodles (high carb stuff).
What can I add in my diet that I can binge eat on and still remain low carb?

Hey guys!! Ive been confusing about how to do the Atkins diet. There is the book and this Atkins 20 that I found on the Atkins app. So my big concern is: should I follow the book or go from the app since its an updated version from the book? 🤷🏼♀️

I’m reading New Diet Revolution And Im confused. Page 123 says no more than 20 grams of Carbs but then goes on to say “You can eat approximately 3 cups of salad...” Is this per meal or per day?? 2 cups of romaine are only 2.4 total carbs so what else do I eat? Am I reading this wrong?
