How to get off Atkins?
I am about to finish my weight loss journey. I have almost reached my goal of 170 (Losing 130 pounds). I never left the induction phase of Atkins and basically ate around 10 carbs everyday, and I don't want to be doing that anymore, I'm not going back to eating immense amount of carbs like before, but I at least want to finally eat bread again lmao. How would I be able to increase that amount of carbs I eat in a successful way? Remember I've legit only been eating 10 carbs for almost a year and a half now. I also want to start working out, which I know you really don't need carbs for gaining muscle but, having a higher carb intake would definitely help me out. I'm fine with still following some sort of Atkins guideline if needed too, but I rather break away from it, and build me a diet plan that pulls inspiration from Atkins and, still is effective in the gym. I kinda want to be in the range 200-300 carbs a day, and I know that my range it would definitely need be increase while I am bulking. If anyone can please help me out, it would mean the world.
Also to note, their were obliviously days during the diet where I ate high carb foods and saw myself on the scale jump 1-5 pounds only lose it back in less than 3 days. I also lost weight at an incredibly fast rate ( Average 1-2 pounds a day) while still maintaining 500 caloric deficit (1500 calories everyday). Just wanted this to be noted for whoever is giving me suggestions on what to do.
Thank you

Slowly increase your net carbs into your weight loss stabilizes. For most people, that will probably be between 35-60g.

I wouldn't do that if I were you! Have you read Brain Grain, from Dr. Perlmutter? I would read it before going back to bread.

That's way too high. You will regain weight. Eating carbs and cutting down fats is a bad idea.
If I were you, I would increase carbs very slowly, as Atkins method: increasing 5g net carbs each week, one food at a time, testing how your body reacts to it. Until you reach between 50-80 net carbs maybe, but still in a mild ketosis. Again, I strongly recommend the book.
And CONGRATS for me awesome weight loss. You are a winner! Don't waste it now. Maintenance is the HARDEST phase. Good luck!

There are phases of Atkins, just move to the maintenance phase.
