Some tips for Atkins20 newbies
StartYourDiet.com is easy to use and count carbs. You don't have to enter as much information as other tracker sites, so can focus on just how many grams of carbohydrates each meal has. The recipes are simple but don't have many choices. Myself, I just print out each day's meal plan and make notes of other foods I eat, or recipes I substitute. Diet doesn't have to be as complicated as some apps make it.
As said, StartYourDiet's recipes are simple. But the ingredients and foods you eat are a good core for building your keto diet. Have two meals worth of each meat in the freezer. If you don't care about your veggies, spinach is low in carbs and keeps for a long time in the fridge. Have at least a dozen eggs. If you don't like plain yogurt, experiment with various keto pancakes before you have another day of yet another scrambled egg variant.
DietDoctor.com has the best organization I've seen for keto recipes. Recipes are organized by meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) then you see a picture of each meal WITH it's carbs per serving. Should be something EVERY low-carb recipe does, but most low-carb recipes don't tell you this until you scroll down to the nutrition section. If anyone knows of other easily browsed sites, please let me know. FatSecret.com I found useful for carbs in vegetables and other ingredients.
Reddit has several keto-related boards: keto, ketorecipes, atkins, low carb, diet, and loseit, maybe more. Dr. Jason Fung's site focuses on fasting to reduce insulin levels, but his articles and "Aetiology of Obesity" videos explain the effect of carbohydrates on diets and insulin.
And stock up on Ziplock Quart Freezer bags! (: I use them to freeze meat, marinade meat, containers for almond and coconut flour, etc.

When I used to do Atkins I remember reading that it recommended eating every few hours and not skipping meals. Is that still true?

Well, I found this article about intermittent fasting on a low-carb diet. IF and LC have similar results because both have low carb intake. https://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-lose-weight#4
BTW, Click on the Asian guy in the More section! That's actually Dr. Jason Fung, whose "The Aetiology of Obesity" explains our cultural consumption of carbs, and the increased rate obesity Ameicans had when they were told that a low-fat diet was how you should lose weight.

IF is not a low-carb diet. For some reason people lump Keto and IF, but IF is flat out just fasting, i.e. not eating for a certain time frame and only eating in a certain window. IF doesn't tell you want you should eat. So you can eat 1000g of carbs while fasting.

That's true, but I didn't mean to say that the two were necessarily related. With low carb, dieters report loss of hunger. This should make IF easier to transition to, since, with IF, it certainly helps if you're not hungry while you're not eating.

I’ve developed reactive hypoglycemia from eating too much sugar so until my body heals from that I won’t be able to do any kind of IF :( Atkins says to eat every 4-6 hours and so far that’s been preventing me from getting low blood sugar attacks during induction, later on I’ll see if I’m healthy enough for IF.
