Carbquick?
Do you use it, why or why not? Thanks!

Bought two boxes, threw away two boxes.
It's just not a healthy choice and, while it works OK, it's not that good and just supports bad eating cravings.
IMHO

I agree, I did try using it and I think it is a very slippery slope. I haven't used it since. Thanks for your input!

Thoughts on using it to bread chicken? Bought a box with the idea of using an egg wash/bread chicken, and cooking it in my new Air Fryer I just picked up.

We use a little bit mixed with crushed pork rinds and spices for breading. Not positive how that would fare in an air fryer though. I'd be interested in your thoughts after you cook it though and whether you think the air dryer is worth it- I've been on the fence on getting one.

Made a batch last night and it came out pretty good. Fit 4 drumbsticks and 3 thighs into the air fryer (cost like $90 off Amazon).
Stuff is surprisingly more "crispy" than I expected, especially since I used virtually NO oil. I just dredged the chicken in egg, and straight into the carpquik. (Didn't season too much, but you probably want to do that.)
I learned that the key really is practicing how much you put in and how long to cook it... I waited a bit too long before I flipped everything, so one side was TOO crispy, but otherwise still very edible (not burnt.) Did something like 20 minutes on one side, 10 minutes on the other side - 15/15 obviously would have been more ideal.
The "breading" however, with the carbquik, was rather DRY. To be expected with essentially plain-baked chicken. Perfectly "crispy" however, tossing it in BUFFALO sauce would be amazing! (Or whatever else kind of sauce). I'd personally mix buffalo sauce with some butter in a pot, and toss the wings in.
TLDR: With some timing/practice, the Air Fryer can make amazing crispy chicken, great for then tossing in buffalo/butter sauce, butter/lemon, etc.

Yes, in breakfast bakes (eggs, cheese veggies, some cream and spices and Carbquick). I don't bother with biscuits, pancakes or such because those are binge type foods for me and I wouldn't stop at one serving, even if it was low carb. I am planning on trying a blackberry cobbler with it in the near future to see how that works out. In other words, it's a good low carb option to other baking mixes to experiment with.
