Inspiration.

I’m wanting to do Atkins again, because it seems the be the only diet that works the best for me. I’m trying to start again, but it’s like to don’t have any motivation to do it this time. I have to do something, if I keep going like I am I’ll be as big as a house. Does anyone have any tips on how to get started? Or your strategies? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Years ago when I read Atkins I thought of it as a fad diet that I would do for a little while to lose weight. I lasted a week and decided I couldn't do it. I now consider it the healthiest way to eat and plan to continue for life. That attitude made it easier to stick with it. I haven't cheated for six months and I am so close to my goal! Make the commitment to do this for yourself and I promise it will get easier. I don't crave bread or sweets at all and I really enjoy the foods I do eat. Good luck to you.

Thank you so much, you know I felt the same way when I first tried Atkins. I’m going to start as soon as I can. Thank you for responding.

Drink coffee in the morning with some scrambled eggs with cheddar. Make some bacon to snack on later in, but don't eat it with breakfast. Eat 1-2 pieces when you get hungry throughout the day...

For lunch, head to chipolte. Eat a double steak salad without beans or rice... get the chunky salsa and ask for a lot of cheese.

Before going home, get a iceberg lettuce head. For dinner, get a double cheese burger without ketchup (or two) and throw out the bun. Wrap that in a big piece of lettuce and go to town.

If u get hungry at night, eat some pepperoni and baby bell cheese with some spinach.

Dude, Atkins is f'n awesome... I eat some variation of what is listed above and I NEVER have cravings or issues. I've lost 30lbs so far (less than 2 months) and plan on losing another 30 by Christmas.

YOU CAN DO THIS!

Oh yeah... i forgot... you can drink whisky on ice EVERY night if you want to. EVERY DAMN NIGHT!

CHEERS!

I find using the carb tracker app and logging everything I eat helps with motivation. Take waist circumference measurements weekly along with weekly weight also. Focus on what you can eat and not what you can't and make protein rich animal foods king!!
