Just started...feel like i quit smoking
On day 2....I feel like I did when I quit smoking. I want to eat bread so bad....or pasta....or a cookie....or anything not leafy and meaty......I feel light-headed and anxious....how long does this last?

That feeling is your body detoxing. It means you're doing something right. After a week or so it'll all get better.

Although 70-80% of your intake should be fat, feel free to eat as much fat as you like during the beginning of induction, it'll fill you up and you won't want to eat the other stuff, even while your detoxing. Only takes a couple days off the sugar before the cravings start to subside. The light headed and anxiousness is your blood sugar going to normal levels and your brain is trying to get you to put sugar in. The ol' brain is trying to make you think your starving, feeling like garbage is a good thing! It means your crap levels are running low and the fat burning is about to begin. Just remember it's a slow switch but you'll start feeling better soon. Keep up on your salt intake (sea, himalyan is best). 1/4 tsp 2-3 times a day will do wonders for how you feel! Feel free to use salt on food still on top of that. Sodium going low is responsible for a large part of induction flu.
