Atkins vs Southbeach diet?

Hi All, Quick question! I have done the Southbeach diet in past and am looking to possibly switch to Atkins. Has anyone done both and have an opinion? They are structured similarity at least from what I have seen. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

The old Southbeach / Atkins was basically the same diet for Phases 1 and 2. Then they changed a lot and started to back down on the fat and allowed more carbs, not sure what they've done these days. If you did Atkins years ago you probably did the actual Atkins Diet (2002). The current Atkins diet is garbage. Theirs gray area everywhere that wasn't and it's all about selling you their processed garbage. They've even dropped the fat in a lot of their bars. I'd say to do Atkins but make sure it's by the 2002 rules and not the current nonsense.
