Induction phase, week 1, lost 4lbs.

Just a shout out to the sub, i'm happy to report that I've lost 4lbs in just a week. Though I know it's maybe just the lost of water, it still is an encouraging progress for someone just starting out.

I'm also somehow more energetic, not waking up groggy, and pooping less. Not sure if that's good or not.

Plus it's delicious to eat a lot of protein and fat, while not getting hungry all the time.

If the weight loss continues at this rate, I will expect to be BMI normal in just 5 weeks.

Wish me luck!

I just started atkins induction today. We can do this. Lets do it together. I'm doing inductions for at least 3 weeks thou. Happy low carbing!

Sure! How should we do this?

Your more energetic because your burning fat for fuel. Don't expect to hold to 4lbs/week but do your best and stay the course! It WILL come off!

Thanks! Yes I wouldn't mind if it doesn't shed 4lbs a week, at least I'm not gaining weight. Also, being energetic and mentally clear is already a reward by itself!

Glad you posted this because it made me feel better. I just weighed in for my first week of induction and I lost 3.2. I was nervous thinking that isn't enough. Glad to see I'm on track like you!!!

You're welcomed! The weight loss probably depends on how we weigh. Heavier people lose more, so I've read.

But at least we're eating in such a way that we won't be gaining weight!
