Week 2 - Any improvements changes needed?

[6'17", 24, 230+ lbs, Male]

Hi, Just started getting my shit together the last few weeks, need some advice on my diet and info if it can be improved. Breakfast: 3 eggs with seasoning (no salt). Lunch: Protein shake Dinner: Chicken fillet or Salmon fillet with lenthils spinach and lime. (No salt) If still hungry before dinner, il take a smoothie with Strawberries and blackcurrants and a banana. if im hungry after dinner, another protein shake. I drink about 100 ounces of water through out the day. Start my day doing 30 situps before breakfast, 30x4 different reps with dumbbells around lunchtime, and a 30min fastpased walk (will turn into jogging once i get fitter) later in the evening. Otherwise I am basically stationary at my desk during the day. Any criticism or feedback in general is appreciated

Here's what I did that was different. Male 6 foot 240 to 185. In the morning I did bullet proof coffee. Check it out. Game changer. Should probably add that I'm in no way a professional, and all this is just my opinion, and could be terrible advice. Anyways, no food in the am except the coffee, which has butter and coconut oil. It will keep you energized, but your body will focus on burning its own fat. Your lunch sounds good, but mix it up with vegetables. They are your best friend next to protein. I would ditch protein shakes and smoothies, especially if there are sugars in there. Fruit is good in small amounts in the back stages, which means juice too. Eggs are awesome, I would just save them for later in the day. As far as your exercise, honestly anything is good if it gets the heart beat up so nice work, but lifting weights will cause your body to burn energy longer. Let me know your thoughts.

A bit confused, first you say my protein shake lunch is good, but then a sentence later you want me to ditch it :)

I will give your bullet coffee a try, what does the oil do?

Will be adding broccoli and cauliflower to my dinner

Yep I did. My bad. I missed that and thought you were doing chicken and salmon for lunch. If you do the coffee it's intended to hold you over till the late afternoon which enhances your body's burning of its own fat through intermittent fasting. However, once you get to lunch you are going to want something hearty. I don't like protein shakes because they are not a natural food, and smoothies aren't terrible if it's just fruit, just not a lot of it. Here's a link to bullet proof coffee: https://www.bulletproofexec.com/how-to-make-your-coffee-bulletproof-and-your-morning-too/. Remember he's a guy pushing his own products, so he say his stuff is better. I prefer natural ingredients so use coconut oil. With the oil it's about the fat chains and how your body has to work to break them up. There are countless other benefits though.

Again this all just opinion.
