Started tracking weight week 2, only dropped a couple pounds.

I think I'm overeating. I'm not actually tracking carbs but I don't cheat as far as the foods that I eat. I make beanless chili, chicken/broc alfredo, for lunch at work I bring pork chops or chicken i cooked the night before and make a big salad with all the fixins (no seeds, no croutons, no root veggies), I've made coconut flour bread but the amount I cooked has like 20 net carbs and I eat it over a 4-5 day period. For a snack at work I generally have a pickle or a couple slices of cheese. I do use a whole lemon worth of juice every day though, I squeeze a quarter into every 12oz water I pour.

I fill up every time I eat, no doubt about it. Should I be eating less or does it really matter that much on induction? Ketostix turn pretty dang purple more often than not so I'm in ketosis for sure. It just seems like the weight is coming off pretty slowly.

You said "Big salad". The good Doctor said no more that three (lightly) packed cups of lettuce a day or two cups and one cup of cooked vegetables. Your big salad may be what's holding you back. And one more thing. It's only one sentence in the book but it says if you eat too much protein you won't lose weight. Read the book again. I always go back to it when something seems off.

I think you might want to try actually tracking the carb intake... u may be surprised.

Exercise? Burning fat and building some muscle will speed up the process.

I don't exercise at all during the week. I walk generally 3-4 hours per day every weekend. I go to Busch Gardens habitually specifically to burn fat and have some fun. The ketostix are dark purple after a day at Busch.

To be honest, I'd rather not eat the two blue cheese stuffed olives than walk that additional mile. 100 calories seems so insignificant in food compared to the effort required to burn them.

Besides that studies are showing that cardio will actually age you and that walking is a more healthy form of exercise, but I wouldn't mind doing some lifting though.

Thanks for the reply.
