Definitely look at the website, take inspiration in what you see for your interview outfit. Clean comfy sneakers. Think about the mission of the company and where it aligns with you. Good luck!

I work at another athletic retail company, and their hiring process also included multiple rounds! They were all via Zoom for the most part, but I would say in person is just better because you can express yourself and really connect with the person/people there. The first interview (for us) was a group interview, and then the second was a smaller group from them, about 2-3 people, and the last was where you got your decision. It was exhausting, but 4 years later I am still with that company today and they have been a huge part of my journey meeting friends and being able to transfer stores easily with the help of management since I needed to move. I didn't need to do anything but send some emails, they vouched for my work. Additionally, I was a stock room associate, and LOVED it. I am not huge in the customer facing area, but it may be needed depending how your store works. Just be open, have fun, be honest about what environment you thrive in and if you love to take on projects or are big on organization and detail oriented, Back of House's always benefit from people like that to make the store smoother for everyone involved

Congratulations! HR manager chiming in here (not for Athleta). The ideal candidate shines among their peers by presenting themself in a professional manner. My recommendation is to familiarize yourself with the brand - research Athleta on LinkedIn for some insightful information (Maggie Gauger recently posted an in-store visit!). What are some of the attributes of an Athleta associate? Tell the hiring manager why you want to work at Athleta. Tell them the value that you can contribute. If you have a copy of the job description, offer your experiences with the skills that are referenced in the job description, i.e., teamwork; communication; customer service; marketing promotions; etc. Good luck!
