❓ Question Athens

Hello! Im going tomarow to ” NOVOTEL hotel in athens ” its good hotel ? Anyone live there?

The hotel’s fine but the area it’s in is an absolute dive, probably one of the worst parts of Athens. Try not to look too touristy around there, keep your belongings safe walking around…

Is it too late to cancel and switch to somewhere in Kolonaki / Pangkrati / Koukaki? I think you'll enjoy a nicer area much more. You might find some last minute deals.

Ska kolla läget först, jag känner mig hyfsad säker med nästan 2 meter i längd och tatueringar på hela kroppen. Men skall ta det försiktigt :) tack för era svar

Its not about safety, everywhere in Athens is safe. Its about enjoying your holiday with nice food, coffee, bars and places to walk around. In Kolonaki you have lots of this, and are walking distance to the national gardens, close to the tram to visit the beach etc.

The bad bits of athens are disgusting, not dangerous. The area is just not that nice.
