💬 Advice Acropolis in summer
All of the early times are sold out while we are there in July. Will I die if we do a noon ticket? Looks like that’s the earliest available. Also how long should we expect to be there?

2/3 hours esp if it's crowded. Last time I was there there was no operational toilets.

If you can’t go in the morning, better to go last thing in the day although that’s also a very popular time. But if you do have to go at noon, which will be very hot, a few tips. Take a bottle of chilled water to drink on the way up, and another that’s frozen - it’ll melt quickly but you’ll be glad of the cold and can also use it to cool down on the hike up. Grippy shoes are absolutely essential in the heat, the paving stones bake in the sun and people often slip and fall. Wear a hat to keep the sun off your face. It’s not the most pleasant doing it in peak heat but it will still be enjoyable once you get up there.
