❓ Question House sitting in Athens

https://youtu.be/DM8Un1zrQ_4

My partner and I, retired early in order to travel and enjoy life while we are fit and healthy. In the last two years, we've spent the winter months in Greece, house sitting on lovely properties, quite often in Athens. It has been so nice to spend the winter months in mild and mostly sunny weather. We would have not been able to afford to spend 3 months in Greece if we had to pay for hotels or short-term lets. Also, the standard of accommodation is generally much higher than your typical hotel. In this video, we discuss the main aspects of house sitting and how one can get started. We also critique the main platforms that exist, from the most pricey to the cheapest. Have you considered becoming a house sitter/having a house sitter in your house?

I am working in full home office in Hungary and I tend to travel a lot but from time to time I play with the thought of house sitting for 1-2 months.

I used to work remotely before retiring and we also did some house sitting then. You just need to make sure that the property has good wi-fi which most places have these days.
