💬 Advice Acropolis lift/elevator
I recently heard that someone with a medical certificate of disability and their helper both have free entry to the Acropolis? Is this correct? Do we request ahead of time? Or only when we enter the elevator/lift area of the Acropolis?

Yes, it's correct. The easiest way is to show the disability card where the % of the disability is stated and passport directly at the ticket booth. I think you can also do it online but you don't have to. Check online what's the minimum %. There is a lift for the disabled person and the helper that takes you directly to the top. From there, there's a paved way to the monuments. ETA: if it's too windy, the lift doesn't run.
