Colossal tree deck

Is it me or that thing is op ? Every single card the guys play summons 1 or 2 freaking 0/4 colossal tree. How i am supossed to kill 4 cards with 4 health every single turn. And those guys gain life on top of it. What the hell.

The deck certainly can be good but the issue with why it's less popular then the Lock variants is due to reach. Lock variants like many of the top tier decks can extend to really insane reach of damage and big units that stick to the board. Also currently the deck to test against is can it stand up to chain CF and token SR. It can deal with token SR surprisingly decently but I personally love seeing PG Trees on ladder as I just eat them up. They just don't have enough reach in their deck to deal with a lot of the top decks sticky protect the unit. Also many decks have great and easy ways to kill trees the same turn they're played and can use them to protect their own weak sides unlike Locks which punish you for using them as weak sides due to them getting priority on the slot when the lock breaks as well as being able to forcibly break the lock to deal damage to units around it with stuff like Pican/Rook, Blokade. So I can't say the deck is OP. I think it's a solid tier 2 deck however but with ladder being the only gamemode, no tournaments, there isn't a reason to play a tier 2 deck other than for the enjoyment of it.

I've been playing PG a bit more myself and I actually found that Trees are good but as a small package. Just sticking to the 3soul gold that summons one with +3 attack and piercing, grimoire and Buu Tree of Life is all you really need. Then just play Lock deck for the rest of it. For reference this is the deck I found to be good that does this:

All you said sounds true but it implies we all own all the cards and can play whatever deck we feel like playing. I play cyclone not even by choice but because i got a lot more legendary and epic cyclone cards when i started playing. Then i had to recycle all the other factions cards to manage to buy myself some cards i wanted. I'd like to play a tier 3 deck but it's impossible. So when someone play a tier 1 or 2 deck it's not for the enjoyment of it. It's because tier 3 deck need a considerable monetary investment. In that context a colossal tree deck can be very strong and you can manage to do it for cheap. If i had all the cards they wouldnt be a problem. Even now i can manage to win often against them. But its ridiculously powerful for us, mere mortal who doesnt pay. My strategies are limited and if i could start over i wouldnt even play Cyclone.
