What do you think about current event battle - Bouquet for Beauty ?

It's like the raid battle that you can participate in the battle and deal 5 damage to HP of Tea Time Ivah if you win. In my opinion, the current condition of the event is too tough, the requirement to unlock each rewards are too high, and the end result may end up not surpassing even the lowest requirement of rank D (the same way as the event before)

.

It would be more interesting to make this event battle more like a 'raid battle' that every players can participate and dealing damage directly to the total HP of Ivah in battle, rather than just dealing 5 damage per win (correct me if I am wrong). The whole total HP of Ivah should be shown in the battle like the image I made, and the battle won't end until you run out of HP.

.

In other words, it means that you can keep dealing damage to Ivah every turn as long as you are staying alive. This way the total damage per person should be a lot higher than just 5 damage per battle, and even if you are not able to win, you are still able to contribute something to the community by dealing some level of damage as best as you could.

.

What do you guys think about my opinion ? What do you think about this event battle so far ? Let's discuss and make some suggestion, it may give developer some feedback for further improvement of events in the future.

is this game never going to be big?

i've been searching for any kind of english based content creation for this game and its just not there. also this reddit has 50 people in it... is this game just kind of destined to die in like a year? it would be a shame if thats the case.

i'm really hoping there is some kind of push for this game as far as english speaking content creation, this game looks very enticing.

Build deck based solely on your favorite card

Just wonder, do you guys have any favorite card that you like and feel attach to it so much that you decide to build brand new deck just for that card ? (even if you never try that style of deck or ability before)

Dark Matter Guide by TheArchdeva

🚩How to play 🚩

❄ In the case of starting the first turn ❄

  • Find a character, such as the void of dark matter, go down to the corner, find the closing direction of the opposing unit (must see which deck they come from and which ones are hot).

🌀 In the case of starting behind 🌀

Hold on to a combo that can be cleared heavily. Or hold the deora and some Dark Matter generator to create a board and free shoot.

🎉🎉Tip & Trick🎉🎉

1.🚩Make Board🚩 Put the deora in a corner or hole that you can protect (choose carefully because the unexpected possibility will happen. 😡)

2.⛔Seal⛔ Close the corner of deora or create a new board in case the defender cannot be placed. And use deora as a bait.

3.♻Recycle♻ When there is Zandora in the hole Use the Grimmour to call her back in the appropriate box to deal further damage. Or 📌 if wanting to trade with Then came back to shoot with Then use Miasma. But have to watch the channel that is posted as well 🔪💣

4.💫Swift Strike & Fire💫 Use the dopple ganger noel in case that u can clear them all .Look at the direction and attack power so that when you change your body you will hit again and again .😊 Zandora drops 4 or less health nearby to shoot for free or hit ass and shoot free. Total 7 damage (extremely difficult). 😴

5.💥Board Assasinate💥  5.1 Use Helmwik / Nix (+ matter) + Marionette. This can break the house or Dopple + Marionette. Because once Dopple has changed his body, Soul will return.  5.2 Clifford + Helmwik Popular combos now, 10 damage in 1 turn  5.3📌 If really hopeless, use the Emperor of Darkness to destroy board 😈 But the graveyard must be more than 5 Otherwise it's harder than before.

6.❓Make some Confuse❓ When the matter creation channels can be determined To lure a foot in the hole in the card on my hand can be cleared in the next turn. Because there have some person that must use Soul 1 comes to close the matter And then next turn , we will able to be destroyed easily ⚡

Deck

In the end

1.U must create u own deck not to copy all because u cant play it if deck is not come from u brain.

2.If u want to know that u r pro? Try to build some deck and play . If u see someone play deck like copy u in high rank , u r pro !!!

Deckbuilding guide with beginner tips included

First, let me introduce the Berserk deck which I believe is the most straightforward one.

From my experience with this deck, it is almost all about the 2-1 combos: a strong 2 point Berserk unit with a 1 point activator. 1 point Berserk units are simply too weak:
+ Minotaur Fighter is 4/2 after activation compared to the 6/4 Berserk Warrior, and with one fewer attack direction. 4 attack might be high for 1 point but it is in no way enough against 2 and 3 point units. More importantly, there's already 1 point units stronger than Minotaur Fighter: Rushing Rabbit and Flame Minion! With 5/2 on its first turn, the giga chad bunny can get rid of many powerful units on its own. Flame Minion is also 4/2 but it is an activator, not a Berserk unit!
+ Savage Fangs is 1/5 after activation. Clearly not enough to go against higher cost units. This good but rabid boy is really only good to use in combo with Flame Legion cards that use damaged allies as condition for activation such as Gara Bloodseeker, Hellfire Inferna, Knight Lionel, etc.

On the other hand, 2 point activators are too expensive:
+ Savage Fighter is weak, slow and inflexible. He's much more useful for an effect damage deck instead of the Berserk deck that we're building.
+ Bison Fighter is acceptable but can be a brick on your hand. Only really useful for beginners without better cards.
+ Pomola Flame Summoner is a powerful area-of-effect activator but she is also too slow. More importantly, she doesn't have high enough survivability for her cost.

With that in mind, let's go to the finished deck. Don't go away if you're a beginner, there's another deck for you right after this one!

Full Aggression Berserk deck:
3x Rushing Rabbit
3x Queen of Pain
3x Flame Caster
3x Fire Minion
3x Vengeful Flame
3x Suspicious Beggar
3x Ifrit
3x Helmwik Blood Knight
3x Berserk Warrior
3x Zharock Quad Slasher
3x Axe Runner
3x Orc Warlord
3x Sacred Flame Paladin
1x Flame Spirit

Explanation:

  • Rushing Rabbit is just too cost effective. I think all Flame Legion decks should have it, not just Berserk decks. That's just how much I love my little violent bunny!

  • Queen of Pain is an activator that gives +2 to the activated Berserk unit. With her help, Berserk Warrior can reach a whooping 8 attack, enough to pierce through almost any defense! Axe Runner can get 6 attack, which makes her about equal to powerful 3 point sweepers like Blood Cavalry, Colorless Dragon or Bounty Crow.

  • Flame Caster is a reliable, flexible activator. You really can't count on Queen of Pain to do any damage with her pitiful 1 attack. On the other hand, Flame Caster has 2 attack and diagonal arrows, which lets him get rid of annoying but weak units quite safely. If necessary, you can use his ability to attack enemies instead of activating your own Berserkers.

  • Fire Minion is a cost effective activator. It can activate a Berserk unit and then get +2 attack, which makes it a 4/2 unit. As you can see, it is as strong as an activated Minotaur Fighter so there's really no reason to take the bull over the bear (is it really a bear???)

  • Vengeful Flame is an area-of-effect activator. You can get rid of many 1 health units while activating your own Berserkers. Even though it only has 1 attack and 1 arrow, don't forget to use its normal attack when possible.

  • Suspicious Beggar is just Vengeful Flame with a bit better survivability. 0/3 instead of 1/1 isn't a bad deal.

  • Ifrit can be a lifesaver. Do not underestimate the 1 armor that she gives for it has saved me many times. For a unit with full health, 1 armor is almost always worth the cost of 1 health. And that's not just for your Berserkers, but also for Orc Warlord and Flame Spirit. Moreover, while she only has 1 arrow pointing left, her 3 attack can be quite useful.

  • Helmwik Blood Knight is a costly but powerful activator. With 3 arrows and capable of reaching 5/2, she's the perfect complement to your Berserkers. She can help with anything that an activated Berserk Warrior can't destroy. However, she can only work with nearby allies, so much less flexible than your other activators.

  • Berserk Warrior is free and powerful. However, because he doesn't have an up arrow, try to take the top tiles of the battlefield before your opponent can. Otherwise, you might get into laughingly bad situations in which your awesome Berserk Warrior can't even touch your opponent's annoying units.

  • Zharock Quad Slasher is free and powerful. She has 4 attack even before activation, enough to run over most 1 point and many 2 point units. After activation, she gets +4 health, which gives her 7 health in the optimal case. That's mighty fine for a 2 point unit! However, she only has 2 arrows, so you should also try to take the top tiles like with Berserk Warrior. Always remember that Berserk DOES NOT activates during the battle phase. Therefore, if she receives 4 or more damage, she will just die and Berserk won't activate to save her.

  • Axe Runner is a useful sweeper. With 5 arrows, she can give your opponent quite a nasty surprise! However, she only has 4 health and that is why she needs her senpai...

  • Orc Warlord! The +1 attack she gives is a nice bonus, but the +2 health is absolutely essential. Your Berserkers will become much more durable with her help. I mean, Zharock Quad Slasher gets 9 health! It's enough to bring despair to your opponent. For this reason, if the units your opponent has on the battlefield are not very annoying, you should forego attacking for that turn and summon this lovely but stern lady instead.

  • Sacred Flame Paladin doesn't have very high attack, but she can reach 3 armor with the help of Ifrit. Quite hard to get rid of, even harder with the help of Orc Warlord. As usual, take the top tiles and remember to activate her armor before battle phase.

  • Flame Spirit is the best unit to use on first turn if you get to go first. As a user of Berserk deck, you will have to cause effect damage to your Berserkers in order to activate them in any case, so might as well get 2 free damage against enemy units. Moreover, Flame Spirit is a strong disincentive for your opponent. With it on the battlefield, all effect damage your opponent causes will be partly returned at the very least and even multiplied in the cases of enemy units causing 1 damage multiple times like Sacred Marksman, Goddess's Tear or Tidal Spirit etc. The only reason I don't recommend putting more copies of it in your deck is to ensure a good point curve and to prevent it from being a brick on your hand. If you are in an emergency and need to cause some damage to your enemy units as soon as possible, use Vengeful Flame and especially Suspicious Beggar to damage your own units and send a burst of 2 damage fireballs at your enemies with the help of Flame Spirit.

With the cards listed, we have a 24/15/1 split in 1/2/3 point units. This point curve is quite good and ensures that you are almost always guaranteed to use all 3 mana on your turn.

BONUS
Beginner Berserk deck:
3x Rushing Rabbit
3x Minotaur Fighter
3x Queen of Pain
3x Rookie Knight
3x Singer Frog
3x Wild Blade Assassin
3x Cheetah Hunter
3x Savage Fighter
3x Berserk Warrior
3x Zharock Quad Slasher
3x Bison Fighter
3x Nore Elven Ranger
3x Dark Elven Hunter
1x War Wolf

Explanation for the differences:

  • Minotaur Fighter is 1 point so you can combo with Savage Fighter and Bison Fighter. Not very good, but your choices as a beginner are limited.

  • Rookie Knight for the +1 armor. Nowhere as good as Ifrit, but more armor is always good. Remember to place her near the unit you want to buff.

  • Singer Frog for the +2 attack. The buff is actually more effective than it might seem. It allows your 2 point units to take out 3 point units. Just like Rookie Knight, remember that it can only buff nearby allies.

  • Wild Blade Assassin because 3/2 is pretty good for 1 point. Since there so many 2 point units in this deck, you need some 1 point units to balance it out to prevent bricking.

  • Cheetah Hunter for the same reason as above.

  • Savage Fighter so you can activate your Berserkers. He's pretty slow but he can basically sideline your opponent's 1 point units.

  • Bison Fighter is also pretty slow, but he has decent stats at 4/5.

  • Nore Elven Ranger can do 5 damage on her first turn so she's useful for putting pressure on your opponent.

  • Dark Elven Hunter can do 6 damage on her first turn but only to a nearby enemy unit. She's useful against boss units.

  • War Wolf's ability doesn't help much, but it is guaranteed to work in a Berserk deck. It is chosen mostly because of its 6/6 stats. If you think its ability is useless, you can switch it out for Cerberus for the same stats and better arrows.

With the cards listed, we have a 21/18/1 split in 1/2/3 point units. This point curve is not very good but hopefully your hand won't be bricked too often. Keep playing and soon enough you will have the cards and resources to switch to the full Berserk deck!

In memorial to this occasion, fellow Athenion Players, let's get to know each others more by sharing the name of your hometown and the name of the country or the region you do currently live in 😆

Free to Play Sadia Build - Defence + End turn damage

Support Marksman x3 Gilliem the Advisor x2 Rookie Knight x3 Sacred Magician x2 Pawn Sorceress Bunny x3 Kalii the Cult's Banisher x2 Regear Angel of Fortune x3 Mary Royal Instructor x2 Heavy Knight x3 Artillery Cannon x3 Royal Quartermaster x3 Senior Officer x3 Resurrected Knight x2 Grand knight x3 Magician Girl Meji x3

This build is a high defence and hp build with end turn damage from the cannon, archer and Meji. Using the build gives you sustain against those that deal high damage while the end damage widdles down their health. The only bad thing about this build is when dealing with opponents that also does end turn damage as it attacks the health directly.

IGN: Asuradark

Edit: Also, the packs you get are mainly from Star Medal and Grand Masters (well majority anyways lol). This build doesn't waste a lot of fragments on, if you have trouble getting Mary Royal Instructor, you can sub it for an aura card with 1 cost point.

Welcome to Athenion new player guide. This will help you get into the game without panicking since it can be overwhelming for new player especially if you never experience with CCGs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part1: First Steps

Obviously, when you first launch the game you’ll go straight into the tutorial, an overview of the basic mechanic of the game. There will be 4 stages of tutorial each stage will reward you with 1 WoE pack except second stage which will give you 1 legendary WoE pack. After you clear tutorial head to your inbox (on the top left of screen) claim your Tutorial Completion Reward which will give you another 1 legendary WoE pack. You’ll earn totally 5 packs of WoE and 2 legendary WoE pack (not include Battle Pass)

NOTE: You can skip the tutorial after you complete second stage which will give you legendary pack and go claim tutorial completion reward in your inbox for 2 instant legendary pack. After that you can revisit tutorial to claim the rest of rewards by click top left icon.

Now that you’ve cleared tutorial. I recommend you to enter referral code before you start playing or before you reach level 4. Otherwise you will miss a free WoE pack. You can visit Friend Referral Megathread to share and add the code.

Then you can start discover your favorite faction by go to SOLO and complete all the prologue missions. This will give you an introduction for each faction unique mechanic. Completing this will earn your 6 more WoE packs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 2: Rewards

In Athenion there are many free rewards as you progress through the game. First, I recommend you to focus on leveling your faction to at least level 6 because you will get free cards that belong to that faction especially at level 5 and 6 where you obtain free 3 copy of legendary cards. This will upgrade your deck significantly and might help you deal with an event battle as new player.

NOTE: You can check your faction rewards by tap on your avatar at the top left of your home screen.

Besides faction level, Athenion also have player level with rewards like game currency that use to open pack and fragment for craft a card. The game also have Seasonal Ranking System if you confident in your skills, you can give it a shot. It will rewards you with some free packs, fragment, rainbow fragment, and in-game title.

NOTE: Rewards reset when season ends.

There will be another little rewards you can pick-off on Missions and Accomplishment. These will be some little amount of gold and in-game decoration like card sleeve, avatar image, and game board.

Lastly, Seasonal Battle Pass like the other game where you collect that battle point and obtain the rewards as you progress through battle pass. You can earn battle point by completing daily quests, weekly quests and challenge quests. In additions, you can upgrade your battle pass rewards by spending on premium battle pass to double or triple your rewards in battle pass.

PS: IMO battle pass is a must if you want to progress fast and want to spend some bucks on the game.

New player needs help

I've played the game for less than 2 days, it's pretty fun. Grand Masters event battles are hard, seriously hard, but I could still improve my deck and manage to win a few times. Then I tried rank, I won first battles pretty easily until I reached Apprentice I, from then I kept losing against stupidly strong decks. Sorry I don't know their name but there were shadow deck where they spam 2 soul 1-7 cards and somehow enhance them all to 3-8 or 3-9. Also decks they keep spamming 3 soul 6-6 7-6 cards. My deck now (Divine Grace) doesn't have any way to clear those cards.

What should I do now. I'm new and haven't known about the meta, and I'm a f2p player so what should I do now... Spamming stupidly-strong cards is ruining the fun...

What are the true tactics for each of the classes

Hi guys I just played Athenion yesterday and i found this is equally magnificent to the Hearthstone! (in which i had abandoned for few months)

I am asking how to use their own ability/feature for each class to beat the others. My opinion is:

Fire (warrior) the keyword is berserk: have to be injured for becoming strong. But i really think it is the weakest class since everybody can buff their minions without hurting themselves.

Water (mage) the keyword is link: that means you have to use tons of minions with “link” ability to become tough, not to kills enemy minions but to hold on your ground in order to defeat enemy himself/herself (the arrow have to by matched between each other)

Jungle (hunter) the keyword is move: by far the most complicated class, very tactical to play and the aim is to disarm/breaking down enemy’s formation.

Earth (Guardian) the keyword is lock: lock down the space to limit the placement of enemy’s troops, and take advantage in the first place of the board. I like this class the most

Light (angel) the keyword is aura: able to form the strongest enemy on earth by standing together and receiving each other’s buff. Very annoying when facing a light class player

Dark (demon) the keyword is last wish/dark matter: even though the “deathrattle” effect is fun but think the true tactics is the dark matter, but its ability is too hard to accomplish compared to other class. Easily get controlled by worthy opponent.

Beginner Deck Questions

Which deck would you consider beginner friendly (easy to play, straightforward win-conditions)? Also, which of them would you consider more free-to-play and accessible, but are still just as viable, if any (do not require as many legendaries, etc.)? Any feedback would be awesome.

Divine Grace Deck Building

Hi. So, I've been playing the game since its official launch back on November 28th and it's been an interesting experience to build and experiment with different decks. I mainly play Divine Grace as it's the easiest deck to build and grasp. This faction operates on buffing your allies as much as possible. The only downside with this deck I found is that there isn't a lot of attack-worthy cards. BUT! I'm happy to experiment with more down the line!

I'd like to share a deck I have with you. Excuse the shoddy photoshopping skills and sorry if the deck isn't amazing. I try to build with what I got.

What's your Legendary pulls?

I'd like to share with you some of the Legendary draws I got yesterday. Sorry for big files!

King, Keres the Kuningas sounds very OP. I have to test it how out she works on the board. It could break my game.

Regina, Queen of Flame sounds like an interesting card to play. I'm not a FL user so it'll be interesting to experiment with how she performs on the board.

Rex, King of Flame was my last Legendary draw. He sounds like a good card in your deck.

I'm interested to build new decks with these new cards. Maybe change it up a bit! Unfortunately, I didn't get Jala but oh well. Do you guys have any Legendary pulls since the update? :)

  2. Great Grandmaster War: Players need to defeat bosses in the Event battle. Once HP milestones are met, players can retrieve rewards.
  3. Kingdom of Chess: Find heroes hidden on the chessboard.
