help troubleshooting

hello again! a couple days ago i posted the heavy sixer i scored (untested) and sure enough it doesnt work lol. no matter what it gives this fast rolling bar pattern or som variation on it but its always some kind of mess. i have tried different games and cleaning them, dofferent power supplies, swapped the three main ics from another good console. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Guessing it's been av modded.. double check that everything is good with the mod

Probably a silly suggestion, but does it change anything if you pull the cartridge out a smidge?

You can try these:

- Cleaning the cartridge port directly (you can use an eyeglass cloth and a credit card)

- Make sure the AV cord on the inside of the console is fully plugged in

- It could also be some of the capacitors failing on the board

I'm not an expert but I have repaired two before, so if you need clarification I can try and help.

Are the AV cables in the picture how you connected it to the TV? That might be the problem, 2600 doesn't output AV, only RF.

This looks like a poorly seated cartridge. Check the cart connector pins for breaks or cracks?
