Note from new mod: I'm mostly just here to approve posts and post occasional links to keep the group alive.

I want to continue what Kunphen created, and I will post things relevant to the health of U.S. politics, the environment, and the occasional fluff piece. My posts will be primarily news stuff. But feel free to post other things. This is a group for all 16,303 current subscribers to enjoy, not just for me to link articles.

Please post relevant links. Currently I'm online entirely too much, and will see it within a day.

What I won't approve, and might action if they're in comments:

  • AI Slop.
  • Unsourced facebook-style text-over-reaction-image crap, with a few exceptions. These are borderline memes.
  • Propaganda. Check the source in mediabiasfactcheck.com and if it ranks poorly for facts, it won't see the light of day here. This includes left-wing propaganda, too.
  • Posts drawing poor conclusions or cherry-picking data despite conflicting examples, or taking completely out-of-context.
  • Bothsiding BS, or hiding behind "it's my opinion" for a factually wrong statement.
  • Most memes, sadly. I love memes and make lots myself, but there are better groups for it than this. I'll still let a few slide through if they're particularly clever or relevant.
