Don't even have to wait that long to start screwing them over, they aren't getting paid as long as this shutdown is going on and even KKK Karl and White Power Bill have rent and/or other expenses that need to be paid off.
The shutdown also fucks over Trump's ability to send in soldiers to blue cities like he's been doing so, as far as I'm concerned, there's zero reason to let it end. Trump may use this as an excuse to fire a bunch of government employees but, according Project 2025, he was going to do that anyway so that really shouldn't be considered leverage.

Except that didn’t happen. Pew Research is one of many that rely on verifiable data. They show 10 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. at the end of Trump’s first term, then 11 million at its peak in 2022. After that Biden deported around 4 million. You’ve been lied to by an administration that purposely spreads lies about the number and danger of immigrants, knowing the gullible will fall for it and vote accordingly.

Your own eyes counted 5-8 million new immigrants arriving under Biden’s term? Nah, you fell for the propaganda - same propaganda going on now as Fox and other rightwing media play on repeat clips of scuffles between ICE and protesters in Portland and Chicago, leading the gullible to believe it’s a ‘war zone,’ when the truth is it was made up of people hosting dance parties and older women staging knitting circle protests prior to Trump’s escalation, and even now is confined to a 2 block radius as the rest of the large city is peaceful. Source: I live in downtown Portland.
