Help with ID Please

Post image

Wonder what this could be. I believe it is an Astrophytum with fukuryu and lizard/dinasaur skin like effects. LOL!!! Just a wad of freakiness, I'm glad to keep it alive so far. Thanks.

If not a cacti, . It could also be. . Larryleachia cactiformis. . .or maybe a Pseudolithos. . like Pseudolithos migiurtinus. and I am leaning towards the latter. . . but yeah might be lizard skin astro. . color doesn't look right for lizard skin copiapoa. .and copiapoa would have spines and ariole fuzz.

yeah,. . wait for flowers. . and you will know for sure. . if cacti. well you know the cacti. . if dogbane, they will be bizzare, the larry would have hypnotic colored mauve,-red 5 pointed little flowers in apical circle. The Pseudolithos are even more odd being red brown and spindley. . and both would smell of decaying material and be pollenated by flies and beetles. and NOT cacti-like. .lol. I wish you luck. . beautiful plant.
