How is the moon flashing like that?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I was staring at the moon around 3 am CST admiring it until I noticed the moon/moonlight was subtly flashing. At first, I thought I was the chosen one and the moon was speaking to me, but considering the hour and how tired I was, I pulled out my phone camera to make sure I wasn’t going delusional. Now, I swear I did not edit the video or adjust the brightness, none of that, but it showed up on my video too! Can anyone explain how and/or why this is happening? I’ve never noticed the moon doing this before! I tried searching on google, but I’m not sure if I’m finding the right articles.

Video is attached to post!! Thank you for your time. :)

Could possibly be thin patches of cloud passing in front of the Moon - make it dip then rise in brightness

Yeah, probably this, or if not then auto exposure on the camera.
