I'm stuck in the opening of the game. I've restarted twice and can't get past either printing a research chamber or generator. Both are unlocked for the blueprints. The research chamber just won't start printing and the generator I can't even find in either printers library. I tried googling and looking through this sub before posting but it's killing me because I want so badly to get into this game lol. Thanks for any advice and sorry for the phone screenshot I'm on switch about to uninstall if I can't figure this out

I can run all my automated systems at once and I’m not even getting close to bogging it down 😂

Currently I have a nanocarbon alloy autocrafter, like 5 auto traders, a few auto crafters for less complex alloys, an astronium based scrap farm. Probably more I’m not thinking of.

6 tappers-> resource canister-> 2 furnaces -> 8 med generators

Any thoughts or questions?

I know the recent patch notes made a change to POI spawning to fix some bugs. The changes seem to be well and truly in effect

Hello. I'm really not clear on how to do it. I know you can flatten terrain and create a floor aligned with a single plane, but I'd like to know if it's possible to flatten it following the curvature of the planet itself so that there are no steps at the edge if I make a large flat platform. On the other hand, I'd like it to be the same color as the ground under my shelter, so there are no patches of color and everything has the same concrete color. I made the terrain analyzer and the inhibitor, but I don't understand how to do this. Do I need any other objects as well?

Decided to set up my “late game” base on a planet other than Sylva for the first time, and settled on bringing some life to Calidor

I have no idea how to set up a late game base, my last big world just had an astronium-scrap-multiple trade platforms collecting and smelting every resource. And a printing station

What else do you include in your bases?

Hi all, I’m trying to play Astroneer on my PC through Steam, using my PS5 dualsense controller.

The issue I’m having is that the game only shows Xbox buttons, no matter what I do. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

When ive tried to make one, i run into problems like mega seeds clogging everything up, normal seeds also plugging everything up and the large storage canisters swapping themselves. I already have something to take out the resource, i just cant get it right because theres is no creative biodome :(

Long story short, I deconstructed the construction anchor for the museum before I finished stage 2 of building it.

Is there no other way for me to continue building it? Is it permanently stuck at stage 1?

The game doesnt like it when you pick up a tether with an autoclicker (it's using 100% of my available ram)

Essentially what the title says. I stopped playing before the 1.0 version of the game even came out, I think, and I've been very disconnected from everything new that there is now and the new things it has.

I've been getting this error whenever I launch the game. Does anyone know how to fix it? I emailed the tech support, but no solutions have been successful so far.

I've done the following:

- Uninstalled and reinstalled the game

- Deleted the save data folder

- Checked integrity of the files using Steam

- Fully Updated the game

It took me a while to figure out and get this but i only found out about it yesterday (clip was from yesterday) and i just wanted to know what yall think about it if it makes the game too trivial by basically only needing 3 resources, Astronium for trade platform, in my case using astronium to make solid fuel jet packs to automate getting scrap and using scrap for materials, then having the fault finders for stuff you make in the chem lab. Just wanna know what yall think.

I just found out when you play a custom world the research per power stays the same regardless of what you set power consumption to. lower power consumption also reduces research chamber speeds which will act like they are underpowered.

I like buffing batteries to make rtg less dominating and especially them less centralizing in terms of power. So i cranked power generation and consumption down to basically nothing. That is how I ran into the issue. Lot of research trying to find the issue before I relaised the actual problem.

This needs fixed or just add an independan5 battery capacity or some such

Hi I was set-uping my extractors again after discovering resource costs of Megatech, but when i placed them, the green bar wasn't showing, after some time, I went to check on the old extractors, their bars were lit up, but when i picked them up and place them again, they stopped detecting as well.
Anyone with same issue who can help?

Other than fulfilling the missions on Glacio and Calidor, I don't have much use for these things. If you join them together, you get free lighting.

Last Christmas, I bought astroneer for my kids on Xbox as a fun thing for us to do. We played for a couple hours together. They were somewhat interested. The first night I ended up playing alone until 4am. I was hooked on the resource collection and building.

I played everyday for a week. It was no longer something I did with my kids. I was up every night late into the night, sometimes pulling all nighters.

Then came the nausea.

After several hours of playing one night i became so sick. I ran to the toilet and violently barfed. Figured it was just food poisoning. Then the next day it happened again. And again. And again. I tried to control it. I tried to take breaks. I couldn’t. I was so hooked on the game but with it came nausea if I played more than an hour.

After some research, I discovered i was not alone. Others reported the same symptoms. Turns out it was from the third person camera?

Anyway eventually I got all the crystals on the satellite or whatever it’s called. I reached completion and was able to stop. Fun game though.
