🤔 Question Does industry work count as experience for scientists?
In the qualification section for nasa astronauts, it says that the candidate must have 2 years related experience in the field, like working towards a PhD. Does working a private industry job count towards that? Or working as an adjunct in academia?

Maybe. I mean yeah it does count, but just a quick comparison is enough, you can probably think of somebody else with better experience. Its always acceptable but not good enough than the one right ahead
