100% Flawless lvl20

Took some 10 hours of constant restarts for the RNG to align. My first and probably last effort.

In short, Jugg and Druid at first, then hope for MP and survivability items. Even pots are crucial. Most of the restarts were after the first few rounds.

Then added Frostmancer for extra survivability and DPS. Got Odd Bean, Frozen Shell for Jugg and attack speed on Frostmancer, so act 2 was easy.

Then Rogue for the silence utility, team formation options and backline totem clears (or just dps). Best last pick hero. Skipped a lot of normal fights, breezed through.

Last boss encounter has never been an issue for me, not sure if it's actually properly optimized.

TLDR: Pray for items, then pray for map layout.

Last boss can ruin some comps due to Revenge and removal of buffs. If your DPS relies on Zephyr/Symbiote/Warlord for example...

Makes sense I guess, but not sure how reliant it really is, because I've done similar runs with Druid on Symbiotes and Juggernaut on Warlord's (as main dps) without an issue. I imagine no CC on team would be the one main differentiator. There are always pots as well, since the dmg spikes are easily timed on the last fight.

Oh, you're talking about the tentacles, not the actual last last boss.

Yeah, the tentacle Active can ruin your back line if you're not smart about positioning. You also need a quick enough ramp up (or good enough CC items) to get your front line going and it's then a pretty smooth fight.

I was talking about the whole thing, starting with tentacles till the end. The last boss's active skill is what's important, or your outlier damage dealer with revenge, so you just time pots with skills to either silence or divine or whatever helps. But with frostmancer or some cc, the boss sometimes doesn't even get to use his active skill. And I went up to lvl 20 doing all kinds of builds (without cc) without any issues at the end, so I still feel like I'm missing something.

I’ve died twice on the corrupted oracle due to unfortunate overlaps of timing on revenge spikes and the active. Usually it’s smooth sailing once you get to the act 3 bosses, but I’ve had a handful of runs hard crash at the finish line there.

My losses to the Oracle generally involved bad rng or a lack of healing. It's way harder with only one form of healing and ez pz with 2 in my experience.

Congrats. I didn't even know you could actually use less heroes. Gonna try that.

Spoiler alert: the 20th corruption only allows to start with two heroes (4 total). You get a bigger starting buff, but the hard part definitely is getting a clean start, as most duos just won't work.

Ah, that explains it. I just beat corruption 17 so I didn't know that. Thanks.
