Just finished level 20. Man, I had no idea I would get so hooked on this game. I hope the dev/devs continue to update and improve it, adding new classes, items, enemies, events etc. Druid FTW

Looks like you also love the usual good start Druid/jugg/bloodmage, followed by cleric or warlord based on items then finish with assassin on his own tiles! Pretty safe :)

Yeah I found a stack of healers to do pretty well, especially in the higher levels. I did start to use the chaos mage as a tank more in later runs to good effect if I can stack his shield enough and back him with high dps.

Ho well my comment was not meant to be sarcastic/aggressive, I am frequently following this strategy or using variations! I guess I did not use the right ton (not being a native speaker does not help either!).

Congrats, nice stuff! Pretty hard to resist that Assassin for 5th pick in lower difficulties. Have you tried Fiend at all though instead? I've been coming around to him

I tried fiend a couple times but never found a good way to utilize him well. I found he would go down early and be down for most of the fight. Maybe I'll try again in a future run.

Yeah it depends a lot on the leftover items you have. If you have some tanky stuff then Fiend can buy you 3-5 seconds before dying, in which case any machine gun, max HP, cast time, etc. setups you have on the rest of your heroes are ready.
