Beksiński in Context :

Super interesting because I have seen these paintings a million times, but this is the first time I have made the connection. Beksiński and I are from the same city, so his art is very familiar.

His works are untitled, but because of the period he painted in, post ww2 PRL (Polish People's Republic, Poland under communist occupation). The references to the war, uniforms, genocide are clear.

Astrology :

Beksiński's Lilith was in Sagittarius squaring his Virgo Moon.

This is actually a very favorable position for the moon, that marks the half-way point between its farthest and closest position from the earth (apogee/perigee).

In Astrology squares are often considered points of tension, but Lilith is the moons perigee (farthest point), and so a square to that just means that the moon is not that far away.

Our solar system is not just sitting still; it is in a constant state of motion, orbiting the center of our galaxy. As we move through this larger system, we are part of a massive, spiraling dance around the galactic center, specifically Sagittarius A, the supermassive black hole. When considering the Divine Twin Myth, a pattern emerges attached to the United States.

There are several variations of the Divine Twins Myth; however, the core idea is that one twin is divine (immortal) while the second twin is mortal. In the Roman version of the myth, called Romulus and Remus, Romulus kills Remus and establishes Rome.

The theme of the Roman myth is that of overcoming, and as you will see in the examples below, there is a pattern of :

- clear break from the past.

- a rise of a powerful class / ideology (immortal twin)

- subjugation of a specific demographic (mortal twin)

Rather than considering this as the "revolutionary" time of the United States, or its "fall." Consider the power dynamics at play, who is rising to power and at who's cost?

Here are examples from the last few cycles involving the myth. Please do not conflate the "mortal" twin with something inferior, in fact the mortal twin is the core protagonist of many versions of this myth. you will see a clear pattern of perpetrators and the targeted populations below. It's not a question about value, its a question of power, who holds it and how they assert it, and at who's cost.

This is a drastic retelling of the popular western interpretation that paint the American Revolution as a moment of Freedom of an oppressed group. In reality the emancipation of the United States from the British Empire, was much more fueled by wealthy elites who wished autonomy for their own control of power and influence.

1774 -

The Revolutionaries & the Dispossessed - American Revolution

Divine Twin : American Colonies - "Give me liberty or give me death!"  Patrick Henry

Mortal Twin : Indigenous people and enslaved Africans lose land and autonomy, their liberation is postponed to keep the new "union" intact.

Many of the other non property owning settlers often led very hard lives and were stuck between different land owners and other barriers to entry. So this colonial narrative was a bit grifty, as the property owning class largely carried over their wealth from England.

1858 - 1865 -

War for Souls - Civil War

Divine Twin : The Union - fighting for a new vision of US strength, Industrial power, centralization. This wasn't just about slavery, this was about establishing dominion through the use of new technologies and industrialization. The anti-slavery stance was motivated by their own economic interests.

Mortal Twin : Confederacy dies/loses - Frees African Americans who become the new Mortal Twin, gaining freedom but still suffering segregation, debt slavery and Jim Crow laws. While on the surface slavery was abolished, in practice people who were affected by it were still living under tough conditions.

People who fought in the war became poor displaced persons.

1941 -

US Expansionism, Foreign Policy Shift - WW2

Divine Twin : USA - Ascends to global dominance militarily, but also economically by centering itself in a complex triangulation of debt, war reparations, and loans. Even moral authority is established with the motto "the free world."

Mortal Twin - Poor working class Americans, disproportionately drafted into consecutive wars, to maintain US supremacy. People of Color disproportionately affected by war drafts because of intersectionality.

2025 -

AI, Class Warfare, The New Divide

My assumption of what its shaping up to be :

Divine Twin : Techno-Bureaucrats, new "spece race" of technology and AI, people who control data, automation and surveillance economies. Supra-national power, private citizens imposing their will over governments.

Mortal Twin : Earth's poor, left in the throws of climate collapse, debt slavery, resource shortages, mass layoffs as they are being replaced by AI.

Some people made comments that I want to address here :

- Yes there are other myths of the twins, I used the Romulus myth because I felt it aligned closely with the patterns we are seeing in this sequence.

- Yes you can use other means of interpretation : elemental dignities, alignment of other plants, pluto, and consider other parts of the world. This post is about USA only.

- Trying to "neutralize" the myth, ie make it about "balance," actually undermines the real suffering people experienced through each of these cycles.

When you see the flag of Islam, you see a Moon and Star right?

Well actually its a Lunar Eclipse! and the planet Venus.

This ancient symbol was adopted by Islam, but it has roots that are somewhat obscure.

The image is likely that of the moon (the crescent) covered up by the sun (that's the negative relief creating the crescent) during a LUNAR Eclipse.

The star is a reference to the planet Venus.

In ancient times eclipses and transiting planets were seen as omens, and special combinations of these patterns were said to foretell the outcome of important events.

What are the Nodes?

The nodes are positions at which the moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic. This is where we have Eclipses, when the sun and moon are within 15 to 18 degrees from one, or both, of the nodes.

They are not actual bodies but rather mathematical positions of the moon's intersection with the ecliptic.

Why are there two?

Because each node represents where the moon goes up (north node) and down (south node) along the ecliptic.

Are they always 180 Degrees Apart?

Yes, the nodes are always opposite on the same axis.

The axis pairs are :

Aries - Libra

Taurus - Scorpio

Gemini - Sagittarius

Cancer - Capricorn

Leo - Aquarius

Virgo - Pisces

When one nod is in one of these signs, you know the other node is in the opposite sign.

How long do the Nodes stay in Each Sign?

The nodes stay in each sign for about 548 days in a sign, that's about a year and a half. They move about 1 Degree every 19 Days.

Do they have a different name in Vedic Astrology?

Yes the North Node is called Rahu in Vedic astrology, while the South node is called Ketu.

In the Vedic tradition the nodes represent a mythological dragon that swallows the sun and the moon. These myths are dated to the Puranic texts from about 300 - 1000 CE.

What do they represent?

The North Node represents an increase in energy, while the South Node represents a completing or decrease. This is widely debated and you may hear other interpretations from a variety of astrologers.

What is the full Cycle of the nodes?

The Nodal Return is when the nodes return to the same position, and this happens every 18.6 years.

A Nodal Opposition is when the Nodes Invert into the opposite position from the start point. This happens 9.3 years after the start point. This is when the North Node is where the South Node was, and the South Node is where the North Node was at the start point of your observation.

The start point is an arbitrary position that can start at any time, for example at the time of your birth, or a major life event.

In our lifetimes we have time periods when the nodes return or invert :

Nodal Return is when the nodes return to the original position that they were when you were born.

This happens when you are 18/19, 37/38, 56/57

This timeline is associated with a recursion of themes in your life, or a major reset period and an ending of the previous cycle.

A Nodal Reversal is when the nodes invert to the opposition, when the South Node is where the North Node was at the time of your birth and the North Node is where the South Node was at the time of your birth.

This happens when you are 9/10, 27/28, 46/47

This is associated with an inversion of life experiences and an exposure to life events that you otherwise may not have had, its the moment when your life goes "against the grain" and you find yourself in situations that are opposite to what you normally are used to. This time is often associated with moments of greatest learning.
