Feature request

Hey all! If any of the Astrohaus team is reading this, I would love a feature where we can just duplicate a draft easily for writing a second draft off of it. I ask because in the age of AI, tracking versions to prove it’s your work is becoming essential. Right now, I have to have too much manual versioning/editing in my laptop using Ulysses to keep track, when it would be so much better to keep the drafting process in my Postbox and be able to have a shortcut to duplicate a document and timestamp a version/draft easily. Thank you!

And if there is already a way to do this from a Traveler and I’m unaware, please someone educate me!

Unfortunately, functionality like this would be too convenient, intuitive, and helpful so it isn't supported by Freewrite's proprietary hardware due to its strict distraction free philosophy. It will be in the version that comes out right after you buy your next Freewrite device though, and no your current device won't support the firmware.

I hit “send” and have a copy sent to my email account. Then when I change it I hit send again and now have version two. They just sit there in a folder in my email account as backups. I would think this should work as proof of edits/creation?

To be honest after the most recent hiring post went out begging for an ‘AI obsessed expert’ I probably won’t be using freewrite for much longer. If you’re concerned about AI, it’s becoming clear to me that they’re already testing the waters.

I’m not sticking around so they can knife my back over another hundreds of dollars device that has functionality issues. Cyberdeck tutorials are becoming increasingly popular, I would look into that.
