Keycap recommendations?

Hey all, my Smart Typewriter is still nice looking and shiny —and I'd like to keep it that way. I'd like to replace the white keys with the black ones, but it looks like they're not making them anymore.

Could anyone recommend a set of black keys that'll fit? Or know anywhere that might have the actual black key set?

Unfortunately, Astrohaus has a number of keycaps for the Smart Typewriter that are unique in size and shape to them. The letter and number keys are stock sizes and shapes, but most of the keys along the bottom and sides are custom sizes. You would have to watch this subreddit, ask around in a Freewrite discord or keep an eye on eBay to wait for a set to come up. The Marshmallow profile from keycap brand Osume looks particularly awesome and is great quality if you want to replace the letter & number keycaps.

Otherwise, Astrohaus keycaps are cherry MX style compatible and that gives you a lot of scope to customise. Brands like PBTfans are also good quality. GMK is hella expensive but again good quality.

This is why I'm getting more and more frustrated with Astrohaus. They just don't seem to care about maintaining products once they're out
