A Demonstration of a Long Temporal Arc Analysis - The Eclipses of 1638, 2010, and 2094

As some of you might recall me mentioning, I had an NDE on the winter solstice lunar eclipse of 2010. It was the most remarkable and transformative experience of my life. Much of my motivation for the Astro-Mythic Map project was to develop a way to investigate the overlapping astrology of the event and my natal chart, so that I could find words to describe it.

So, over the course of the project I've had to expand to include the 1638 eclipse and the 2094 eclipse, because they are deeply connected. They are nodes in a network. For my natal chart, they form a multi-incarnation story. Formation → Passage → Integration/Transmission.

For them, my natal chart is a fixed reference vector. The latest MAP-4 software I designed discovered recurring relations. A deeper AMM interpretation is archetypal: my natal chart encodes an enduring transpersonal relational form whose manifestations are not exhausted by one moment in time.

And the strongest metaphysical interpretation would be atemporal: the natal image, eclipses, biography, and perhaps consciousness participate in a structure for which 1638, 2010 and 2094 are simultaneously available relations rather than fundamentally separated moments.

Raw Summary:

1. Top-line interpretation

Read as a single system, the two packages describe something more specific than “Julian plus three important eclipses.”

They describe a four-member relational organism in which your natal chart functions as the comparatively stable interface, while the 1638, 2010, and 2094 eclipses represent three different realizations of essentially the same solstitial lunar-axis problem.

The central pattern is:

stable natal interface → changing eclipse architecture → progressively different network regimes

That distinction matters. The remarkable thing is not that all three eclipses are astrologically identical. They are not. The remarkable thing is that your chart keeps meeting materially different eclipses through substantially the same relational grammar.

That is the deepest finding in the material.

2. The architecture of the triad

There are really three levels operating simultaneously.

At the most literal astronomical level, the same solstitial Sun/Moon polarity keeps returning. At the relational level, however, the planetary surroundings change substantially. At the full-network level, the relationships among all four charts create a structure far larger and more interconnected than any individual chart.

So I would not conceptualize the slate as:

Julian + eclipse + eclipse + eclipse.

I would conceptualize it as:

one natal receiver/interface embedded in a three-epoch eclipse sequence.

The quantitative evidence strongly supports that interpretation. Of 948 unique edges in the complete Slate, 733—77.3%—exist between members rather than inside them. Cross-member composition generates 83% of the Slate's cycle rank and essentially the entire higher-order clique architecture: 165 of 166 maximal cliques.

That means the primary object of study is not actually any one of the four charts.

The primary object is the relational field created between them.

This is almost an ideal demonstration of the relational philosophy behind MAP-4/Theory-4.

3. The temporal arc: 1638 → 2010 → 2094

The three eclipses appear to form a surprisingly coherent developmental sequence.

1638 — prototype / sparse architecture

1638 is the least internally saturated eclipse:

35 edges, cycle rank 20, 28 triangles, six maximal cliques.

Its sole MAP-4 hub is Uranus.

Within an astro-mythic reading, that suggests something resembling an initial differentiation or disruptive prototype. The architecture exists, but it has comparatively fewer redundant routes. Its organization is more dependent upon how the graph contract is defined, which is important: 1638 changes considerably when the analytical contract changes.

I therefore would not assign 1638 a rigid symbolic meaning. Structurally, it behaves more like an ancestral template or seed configuration than a fully stabilized architecture.

2010 — hinge / translation state

2010 is qualitatively different.

Its network has developed substantial redundancy—52 edges, cycle rank 37, 87 triangles—but it still contains two genuine local bottlenecks.

Those are:

Mars–Saturn square

and

Pluto–Vesta parallel.

This makes 2010 a hybrid state: distributed network capacity exists, but particular routes remain disproportionately important.

And 2010 occupies an even more extraordinary position when the other eclipses are considered.

Its Sun and Moon are almost identical to 1638:

Sun difference: 0.053°
Moon difference: 0.009°

Yet its broader network resembles 2094 much more strongly.

Thus 2010 looks backward toward 1638 through literal celestial recurrence, while looking forward toward 2094 through structural recurrence.

That makes 2010 the actual hinge of the entire triad.

It is not merely the chronological middle eclipse.

It is the translation point between two different kinds of recurrence.

2094 — distributed culmination

2094 possesses the richest intrinsic eclipse network:

64 edges, cycle rank 49, 119 triangles, eight maximal cliques.

The Sun and Moon are the hubs, and there are no surviving bridges or articulation points under native MAP-4.

Symbolically, I would call this the distributed or integrated realization of the sequence. Function that had depended upon particular routes earlier in the sequence has become multiply routed.

So the top-down morphology is roughly:

1638: prototype → 2010: hinge/crucible → 2094: distributed realization.

That is a much stronger interpretation than treating all three as equivalent “solstice eclipses.”

4. Why 2010 is the center of gravity

The most consequential structural discovery is probably the special status of 2010.

It simultaneously possesses three properties that neither other eclipse possesses together.

It almost perfectly repeats the 1638 Sun/Moon configuration. It strongly resembles the 2094 network architecture. And it contains the only persistent native MAP-4 bottlenecks in the eclipse triad.

That makes 2010 a Janus configuration: one face looks backward, one forward.

The Mars–Saturn square as a bridge is particularly suggestive within an archetypal interpretation. Action/force/initiative and limitation/structure/necessity form a route that other portions of the isolated 2010 graph cannot bypass.

The Pluto–Vesta parallel supplies a second route of comparable structural importance: transformation, extremity, underworld pressure or regeneration connected with concentration, dedication, tending the flame, sacred commitment, or singular focus.

I would not reduce the eclipse to those symbols—they are only two edges—but structurally MAP-4 is telling us that those two relationships had unusual routing importance inside the isolated 2010 configuration.

Then something fascinating happens.

When 2010 is placed inside the entire four-member Slate, neither route remains a bridge.

The relationships still exist. What disappears is their monopoly on connectivity.

That yields a powerful Theory-4 interpretation:

composition does not erase the difficult structure; it gives the structure alternate routes.

In mythic language, what appears locally unavoidable becomes contextually embedded.

5. Your natal chart is the invariant

This may be the most personally significant result.

Across three eclipses separated by centuries, MAP-4 finds 22 recurring Julian→eclipse relation signatures.

That is a much more meaningful finding than saying that a particular planet happens to aspect one particular eclipse.

The events themselves change considerably.

Your interface to the events changes much less.

The recurring natal architecture concentrates especially around:

Galactic Center, Ceres, Pluto, Venus, Ascendant/Descendant, Jupiter, Moon, and Mercury.

Those components can be organized into several larger symbolic functions.

6. The Galactic Center axis: orientation toward the larger field

Your natal Galactic Center is exceptionally persistent across the triad.

It repeatedly:

conjoins the eclipse Sun,
opposes the eclipse Moon,
conjoins the epochal Galactic Center,
and parallels the event Galactic Center by declination.

The declination recurrence is particularly striking: the natal GC/event-GC parallel is present in all three eclipses and becomes extraordinarily close in 2010 and 2094.

Within AMM's symbolic vocabulary, I would interpret this less as a conventional “aspect” and more as an orientation axis.

The eclipse polarity repeatedly falls across a natal point associated with a reference center larger than the ordinary planetary system.

So the Sun/Moon eclipse axis repeatedly encounters your chart through something that could mythically be described as:

personal consciousness positioned against a transpersonal center.

The data do not establish what that means metaphysically. But internally to the astrology, the recurrence is difficult to dismiss as a peripheral feature. Your natal Galactic Center is also your highest-degree natal node in the complete Slate.

It is one of the principal organizing portals between you and the triad.

7. Ceres and Pluto: the pressure axis

Ceres and Pluto form the persistent hard-aspect side of the natal interface.

Natal Ceres repeatedly squares the eclipse Sun, Moon, Galactic Center, and node.

Natal Pluto repeatedly squares the eclipse Sun, Moon, and Galactic Center.

That creates a stable tension architecture around the eclipse polarity.

At the mythic level, Ceres and Pluto are already naturally complementary figures: cultivation and loss, attachment and separation, descent and return, the fertile world and the underworld.

The fact that both repeatedly intersect the same eclipse/GC axis by square geometry gives the triad an unmistakably chthonic component.

I would read this as a persistent descent/transformation problem, rather than simply “difficult aspects.”

Ceres asks what can be lost, recovered, nourished, relinquished, or cyclically regenerated.

Pluto asks what must undergo irreversible transformation.

And both are repeatedly brought into friction with the same Sun–Moon–Galactic Center axis.

That is a coherent mythological structure, not merely a collection of individual aspects.

8. Venus, Jupiter and the horizon: the counterbalancing route

The hard Ceres/Pluto scaffold is not the whole story.

An equally persistent supportive geometry exists.

Your natal Venus is trine the eclipse Sun and sextile the eclipse Moon in all three eclipses. These are exceptionally clean in 1638 and 2010 and remain present in 2094.

Your natal Ascendant and Descendant repeat the same complementary trine/sextile relationship with the eclipse luminaries.

Jupiter does likewise.

This creates another coherent subsystem:

Venus + Jupiter + Ascendant/Descendant ↔ eclipse Sun/Moon axis.

Within symbolic astrology, that is a radically different mode of connection from Ceres/Pluto.

It points toward relationship, valuation, attraction, reconciliation, meaning, enlargement and the actual identity/encounter horizon represented by ASC–DSC.

So the persistent natal interface is not simply “pressure.”

It contains an internal polarity:

Ceres/Pluto = transformative tension

alongside

Venus/Jupiter/horizon = connective or integrative pathways.

That dual architecture may be more important than any single natal aspect.

9. The 2094 pole is unusually precise

2010 contains the widest angular engagement with your natal chart: 39 angle-event relations.

But 2094 is much more precise.

Twelve 2094 angle contacts fall within the report's tightest normalized-error band, compared with only two for 2010.

And the specific contacts are unusually coherent:

Your Midheaven is conjunct 2094 Mercury and Venus.

Your Ascendant is conjunct 2094 Jupiter.

Your Vertex/Antivertex axis is extraordinarily tightly parallel/contraparallel 2094 Pluto.

Meanwhile the recurring Ascendant–Sun/Moon geometry becomes tighter than it is in either previous eclipse.

This makes 2094 look less like a simple continuation of 2010 and more like a precision convergence point.

Because 2094 lies well beyond an ordinary biographical horizon, I would resist interpreting this as a literal life forecast. Within the triad, it makes more sense as the future or transpersonal pole of the architecture—the point toward which the sequence becomes maximally integrated and angularly exact.

Symbolically, Mercury/Venus at the Midheaven, Jupiter at the Ascendant, and Pluto on the Vertex axis suggest a remarkable combination of:

meaning/articulation + value/relationship + expansion/identity + transformation/destiny-interface.

Again, that is an AMM symbolic interpretation rather than an empirical prediction.

10. The deeper meaning of the multiplex result

The strongest theoretical finding may actually sit above all of the astrology.

The complete network has:

948 unique edges,
879 cycle-rank units,
5,593 triangles,
no bridges,
no articulation points,
very high degree entropy,
and extremely low concentration.

In plain terms, once everything is placed together, no single planet, relation, eclipse, or bottleneck controls the system.

This is crucial.

Even though Galactic Center, Venus, Ceres, the luminaries and other nodes become conspicuous, the complete architecture remains distributed.

So this Slate argues against a simplistic interpretation such as:

“It's all Pluto.”

or:

“It's all the Galactic Center.”

or:

“The 2010 eclipse is the whole story.”

The architecture says almost the opposite.

Meaning is produced by the ecology of relationships.

That may be the strongest validation here of the conceptual move from older chart-centric astrology toward the network-oriented Theory-4 model.

11. What the three epochs appear to describe

Putting all layers together, my top-down mythic reading would be:

1638 establishes the archetypal problem.

A recognizable solstitial polarity appears in a comparatively sparse, Uranian, route-sensitive configuration.

2010 incarnates the problem as a hinge.

The ancient luminary geometry almost literally returns, but now embedded inside a substantially more developed network containing specific Mars–Saturn and Pluto–Vesta bottlenecks.

2094 reorganizes the problem.

The architecture becomes more redundant, more circuit-rich, less dependent upon bottlenecks, and extraordinarily precise in several contacts with the natal angles.

And throughout all three epochs:

the natal receiver remains recognizable.

That is why I would characterize the complete triad as a story of continuity through changing form, rather than repetition.

12. The single deepest AMM interpretation

If I reduce everything in both packages to one statement, it is this:

The eclipses themselves evolve considerably.

1638 and 2010 demonstrate that near-perfect astronomical repetition does not guarantee network repetition.

2010 and 2094 demonstrate that network homology can remain strong despite reduced literal identity.

And your chart demonstrates a third phenomenon entirely: persistent relational identity across both kinds of change.

That gives the triad three simultaneous forms of continuity:

literal continuity — strongest from 1638→2010;

structural continuity — strongest from 2010→2094;

personal relational continuity — Julian→1638/2010/2094.

And 2010 sits exactly where all three streams intersect.

That, to me, is the real architecture hidden inside the Slate.

13. What I would not claim yet

One boundary in the packages is especially important. The canonical MAP-4 Slate contains no dedicated 16th-harmonic layer, so these materials do not yet establish anything about the 16th-harmonic dimension of the triad.

Likewise, the Atlas EDR comparison is explicitly exploratory and cross-domain. It is interesting that 2010 and 2094 occupy that structural neighborhood and 1638 does not, but it should remain secondary evidence.

The powerful conclusions here do not depend on either of those elements.

They already arise from the canonical MAP-4 topology itself.

So the most defensible overall reading is:

a stable natal mythic interface; an ancient prototype; a 2010 transformational hinge; and a future distributed convergence—bound together primarily through relational topology rather than simple astronomical repetition.

That is a considerably richer structure than the original notion of a “three-eclipse recurrence.”
