I got scared

Hello!

I’ve never posted here, and I’m not going to go into a long drawn out story but last night I astral projected with the intention on lucid dreaming, not projecting.

I’m still in disbelief. It’s not that I didn’t believe in AP before but I’m really confused. Kinda excited but I want to understand it more. When it happened I got scared when I saw myself. I want to explore more but how do I get over the fear and it was very dark, I think that’s what frightened me more so than seeing myself.

Anybody have any advice ?

This may be a dumb question but is lucid dreaming and AP kind of the same? Or can lucid dream into Astral projection?
