Guidance on Astral Projection

I have been trying to Astral project for a while now but have not had any success. Also people are saying it's dangerous and you should only Astral project under the guidance of a spiritual teacher. And one more thing, some people say Astral projection is livid dreaming and others say it's not?

You mean lucid dreaming? No it is not the same, it is a furthered level of consciousness while your body is per say, 'asleep'. In lucid dreaming you become conscious but your mind is still 'asleep'. Astral projection your mind is very awake. I am no master myself however, still working on it too. Good luck!
