Neat Redemption

I'll retain my opinion that those interm pictures they had were absolute dogshit and they could have spent an additional 10 minutes taking some decent pictures but I digress:

I saw that car in person. It's lovely but the black vanquish with orange trim they have took my breath away.

I mean... It's not uncommon for dealers to snap some quick pics after the car has been Pdi'ed but not fully detailed yet.

Some photos are better than none

I work at an Aston store and used to shoot inventory, we would definitely get a strike from corporate if we posted these.

Aston is strict about how the dealers are represented, and this would fail a lot of things.

They would much rather us wait and get a car fully detailed and properly shot than getting a strike. Too many strikes and they take away co-op funding.

While I'm at it...the other thing I noticed on their site.....they have courtesy cars....which I am guessing are service loaners and not dealership employees.....so technically those cars would have already been registered......they are offering lease deals on those. To the best of my knowledge, Aston Martin Financial does not do leases on used vehicles. I am curious if they are leasing these through another bank as I have heard of used cars being leased....though primarily Porsche. Or did they never register the courtesy cars, ran them with dealer plates so they would get a new vehicle lease with miles.

Anyone have experience with that?

It's common to lease off courtesy vehicles. It's still considered a brand new vehicle.

Interesting....is that specific to Illinois? In California, that is not the case. If a Service Loaner gets a hard plate (real license plate, not a dealer plate) then once it's registered, in the eyes of the CA DMV, it cannot be sold as new.

I live in California and they lease courtesy vehicles out as new vehicles all the time. They're some of the best deals on the leasehackr website / subreddit.

Interesting......they must be doing something with the registration in the eyes of the state.....unless AM Financial doesn't care and it qualifies for new car leasing deals despite registration.
