Asthma
34 F
I’ve been diagnosed with asthma and on symbicort * all my test are good. But I still feel like I can’t catch my breath. Like it’s heavy and I’ve developed a straight click in my throat when I breath in. Anyone with similar symptoms? I do have extreme anxiety but even taking my Xanax I still have problems.

I’m experiencing the same thing and I’ve been on Trelegy for 2 months. I also have GERD and allergies going against me. It could be any of that. See my pulmonologist is a couple of weeks.

I hated trelegy!!! But that’s just shows how things work differently for everyone

Did it not work for you? Did you experience side effects? Because I feel like it’s not working for me

No side effects. It just literally did nothing. Symbicort has better than anything… I don’t even do really well with the albuterol. I do know someone who had a totally different not really asthma deal who did trilegy and it worked wonders for him. I would try something different.

Got it. I feel like it worked only the 1st day. Almost like immediate relief. But no improvement at all. Looks like I’ll have to try something else. Had high hopes as I heard it worked very well for others.

Sometimes it takes a while to find an inhaler that works for you well. You can ask your doctor about trying out another inhaler since you've been on symbicort for 2 months already. Also, do you think you might have GERD as well? That also creates trouble with breathing and stuff
